As I said in the custom design thread on UC, kickstarter campaign will be quite simple: one collector's edition deck with uncut sheet. No back or tuck change (similar to what will be there for Mythos). ...I've started feeling that what has been going at present in custom playing card world isn't right, and as change starts with each one of us, someone needs to start doing what feels right in this regard. This took more than a year, and I do hope it will still attract art & playing card collectors along with puzzle enthusiasts in the mix.
This deck requires very precise registration & so I am considering Legends Taiwan facility & have also reached out to Lotrek as his registration is top-notch. The tuck will have matte finish and embossing only (no foil), so it won't utilize Lotrek's fine foil related craftsmanship though, and I am yet to hear back from him.

This is a fine art deck that is a tribute to Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch (circa 1450-1516), whose work is noted for fantastic religious illustrations, many of which depicted hell in a nightmarish manner.

It's a project that comes from Sunish Chabba and Guru Playing Cards, who have successfully produced several decks of custom playing cards already. But the Bosch deck is unlike anything that Sunish has done before.
First of all, each playing card has a semi-transformational style, which means that the pips have been transformed so that they become part of the picture.

Furthermore, each playing card has full-bleed artwork, and the individual cards combine to make a complete puzzle.

Known as a polyptych, it's a puzzle where all 54 single cards make a single larger whole.
To create this remarkable deck, all of Hieronymus Bosch's seminal works were closely studied and explored for hundreds of hours, and combined in an entirely original manner, making it a thoroughly unique work of art that is a creative and wonderful tribute to this famous master.

The deck will be printed by Legends Playing Card Company (LPCC), an industry leader known and respected for their high quality and durable playing cards.
