Title: "Normal For Magicians"
Post by: MrLukeCarroll on December 31, 2011, 06:24:40 AM
Was reading the Magic Geek blog and came accross this really interesting and quite funny article on what we magicians think as just normal that may be taken quite a different way by a spectator -

Of course there is only 3 in the blog (and one of them isn't really even one) so can you guys think of any others in this same sort of vain? Look forward to hearing your ideas :P

Anyone carrying a deck of cards, well - perhaps they like to play solitaire.

Anyone carrying two decks of cards - perhaps they're going to a poker game.

Anyone carrying three, four, five, six, a dozen - ???????

Also, having your fiancee bump into your arm at the dinner table and triggering a puff of smoke from your wrist is absolutely dead normal to a magician - while your hosts/guests might get a little freaked out, especially if they can smell the smoky fragrance...

Hell, anyone wearing a Deck Dropper, Pure Smoke, Gecko, Raven, Black Widow, etc. as a matter of course doesn't exactly strike the general public as "business as usual".  My fiancee calls my Pure Smoke my "man bra"!
