Just one opinion, but I love the white deck aces.  The back and the face cards just leave me cold so I'll pass.

As I said, just one opinion so don't lose heart.

Hi Chas- Thanks for the feedback!

We've been receiving feedback about adding color to the card back. Here are some ideas. Please help us refine!

The three colors, red blue and green all look much better.  I am not a fan of green, but your green looks intriguing.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

  • Facebook:
Consider ADDING color to the backs as they were originally designed.  For example - red foil on the dragon would look STUNNING, wouldn't it?  And if red foil was too costly, red metallic ink would probably be more within reach and also has an eye-catching appearance.  The black and white designs are pretty, but think of those really cool photos where everything's in b&w except for a single element appearing in color - those really catch the attention, don't they?  Well, so can this!

Thanks very much for the thoughts on the card back. We've decided that we're going to stay with the black and white designs to keep the line art technique uniform, but if the project goes really well we might get to this style of deck with the potential for metallic ink and foil on the tuck:

Hi All- Kickstarter has not completed its review process yet. I'll launch as soon as I get approval.
Thanks,
Doug

Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let you know we plan to release the prices for some add-ons tomorrow. For stuff you ship in a tube we'll be offering uncut sheets, an 18"x24" print of the dragon we use on the Ace of Spades, 11"x17" prints of the four aces, and custom hand-drawn illustrations where we take a photo or other inspiration and integrate the face into an image drawn in the style of the court cards. Eddie at Gambler's Fulfillment has let us know that he can ship up to 6 sheets for $16 to the U.S., $18 to Canada and Mexico, and $20 to the Rest of the World, so we're separating out the shipping charges so people can take advantage of flat-rate shipping.
We're also planning to release the prices for the 3D-printed figurines tomorrow! Here's the link to the project and a pic of the figurines. I've ordered two each of the smaller and larger Pixiu (Diamonds) from Shapeways :) The expected delivery date is 11/20, so I might not get them in time to show them off before the campaign ends.
Thanks!
Doug
