Is there something new coming?

27
The box looks good but I am not a fan of the new faces.  The blue looked much more interesting.

I can see them.  I'm wondering if they are all sitting on some website I am unaware of.

Nice box,  now the cards....... anytime soon?

I could go for yellow, especially as it is on the court cards.

Just tried yellow. I'm not digging it, but thanks for the suggestion.

I tried lightening one blue and darkening the other. I kind of like this the best. Thoughts?

The last picture is the original

You're right.  The modified blue looks better.  The white is still good.

Not I.  My nod would go to the second version.

Thanks Don.  Even his website makes it hard to get a clear, straight on look at the cards.

So what is your trick for getting free cards?

36
I would guess you looked at KS a bit before you launched because, in my limited experience, you covered all the bases perfectly.  Good pricing, USPCC, logical rewards, all the illustrations, a goal that actually makes sense, interesting cards, and not too busy.

I really wish I was interested in them as such a well thought out project deserves recognition.  I will certainly watch for your next efforts.  Don't take the critical comments personally; they are just trying to help.

Good luck

PS I agree with the border comment.

For $6.95, it will likely be worth it.  Now I just have to wait to get enough other decks to justify their massive shipping!

I have a dealer who ships me 20 decks for $6.95 and these guys are over $8 with 4 decks.  I don't need anything that badly.

Thanks.  That gave me enough of the images to clinch the sale.  Curious as to why Scott left off any detail.  Maybe he assumed we already knew all the images.  Hope this one does better than the Euchre deck.  I would have liked that one.

Oh, the cover of Hochman's!  That explains why they looked familiar.  Added another deck.

Hopefully, he will add more details.  They look interesting.

Interesting restoration deck, although almost no pictures of the actual cards or the name of the printer, however he mentions Bee stock in the graphic.  Just emailed USPCC.

I would guess there is a group of gamers who want this.

43
The 4th deck will not be sold to the public.  For sale only to CPC 1000 Club members.  This is a set I would buy at $5 a deck, and only if all 4 were available.

No Sale

The new Karnival 1984 deck, however, looks good.

The future looks bad for this one.  Thanks for the heads up on shipping.  I'll keep my eye open for that bait and switch.  I have never had it added when the rewards specified anywhere shipping in the original price.  Missing that trick would really mess up my day.

No, I don't back projects with almost no illustration.  I was looking at the rewards page where it says "shipped anywhere in the world".  In the past that has meant shipping included.  This guy has some problems with $9 shipping.

$18 for the earlybird with shipping to the US? I feel the pain of international backers now. This deck is attractive, but not worth $18.

I'm not seeing that.  I show $9.

I was not commenting on your post.  I was commenting on the images at KS.  It is very limited.

The posted pictures make it hard to see anything of interest here, other than a box.

This is getting a bit heavy, even from the sidelines.  I can see Nash is targeting a different audience from a lot of usual collectors and the unfortunate side effect would seem to be most of the consequences pointed out by Don.

It is a shame you didn't just go for the 1000 deck minimum and get a company with experience to print this.  So much of this conjecture about the quality would just not ever have come up.

Has your "local printer" printed cards before?  Have they done gilding on a deck before?  Have they a name and maybe a website so we can see their work?
