Hello everyone. I enjoy collecting all sorts of things and recently picked up a couple of decks of Thomas De La Rue playing cards in their original box and tax wrappers. I started researching the company and trying to find out about when these were made. This led me to your site. I from Galveston, Texas USA and teach history at Ball High School.

I'm a high school teacher too here in Canada ... AP English.  I hope you are enjoying your summer break as much as I am!

... Your decks look pretty sweet - great way to start a card collection!! Sealed decks from this era are hard to come by ...
