By 'Cinamin' whisky, do you mean Fireball, or is there a better one?

I made 'Cinamin' vodka once, could I use that instead?

By 'Cinamin' whisky, do you mean Fireball, or is there a better one?

I made 'Cinamin' vodka once, could I use that instead?

I always used fireball but i'm sure there are different alternatives.

I recently acquired a mason jar of peach drink. I took a couple nice swigs. Man it was smooth. I was good for while, but about 45 minutes later I was messed up. Wow that stuff is potent.

Jack daniels, but it and some summer shandy are all I have had. Getting some rum this weekend. And some single shots thing that I was told they had so I could see what I like.

In my drinking heyday, I've been known to drink Bacardi 151 straight.  75.5% alcohol by volume.  Next strongest would probably be a mix of Coke and Everclear (95% abv).

In terms of concoctions, I knew a guy - the music director at the radio station I DJ'ed at briefly in my early twenties - who was cousins with Stiv Bators, from the band The Dead Boys.  Back in Ohio, he said, they painted the town red while blitzed on a drink named after the band, a Dead Boy.  It's a shot of everything in the bartender's speed rack with a dribble of Coke on top for color.  Makes Long Island Iced Tea look like an Arnold Palmer.  I've had more than a few of those.

How much Bacardi were you able to drink straight? I imagine quite alot. You look like a man who can hold his liquor.

As for the Coke and Everclear, was it a 50/50 mix, or was it mixed like a vodka and Coke, so it was stronger than your standard V&C, but not 'blow your nuts off' strong?

I polished off about half of a 750ml bottle over the course of a couple of hours.  It's not good for you.

I was already "bartender-trained" by then - most "shot-and-mix" beverages are poured 50/50.  When the bottle has giant warning labels like "DO NOT DRINK STRAIGHT" and "HIGHLY FLAMMABLE", you don't really try pushing it harder than that...if you're smart.

The last time I drank was some terrifyingly strong horseradish vodka that was kind of forced on me in Kiev. My response was pretty much what would happen in a cartoon. Blegh.

A friend of mine got me a bunch of these single shots to try. the only ones that she got me more then one of are ones I really would rather not drink more then one of. After you've been in AA for a while, you get assigned a sponsor - oh, wait, that's right, you never joined because you "don't have a problem..."    You drink, you get drunk, you fall down - no problem!

I keep my problem in check though I thought this was so funny that it popped in to my e-mail. I saw the subject and cracked up laughing. nothing in the e-mail deals with a drinking problem though.

Y'know that "chai" and "tea" are not EXACTLY the same thing, right?  A chai is a variety of tea, but not all tea is chai.  It tends to be richer than most tea consumed in the US and the UK.  Often it's already spicy on its own, usually with cinnamon.

Well, there's your problem right there!  Vanilla chai is more smooth than spiced - it's kind of a clash.  Like drinking milk and orange juice in the same glass.
