Yes, I think all the card Experiment decks have been printed by USPCC (till now)...

Although I usually like almost every deck, I have to say that I am completely lost with this. I don't think it is for collectors thought.

Taking advantage of the thread, can someone clarify this to me?

It is supposed D&D released a box set with all the new reprinted decks. This set contains 6 decks.

Recently, they decided to make it available individually here (http://shop.dananddave.com/playing-cards/smoke-and-mirror-playing-cards.html) and in the photo, there are also six decks but there are only five available to be bought (smoke, mirror, eco, denim and rouge). Which is the sixth? Is it the carbon one, available only in six packs?

Can someone give me light on this?

Don't like... Sorry, I won't support this. I have supported almost all the previous PC projects, and some have not been very successful, but in my opinion this design is not enough.

I wish the creator good luck. The goal is not too high so they will probably get the funds.

According my info the actual release date will be around mid-Jan 2013.

Don, don't be so hard on it. I think the art is something subjective, isn't it?

I like the design, although bridge size is not my favorite... Prices (pledge tiers, I mean) are fair although I don't understand why the shipping quote is not different within Europe. Card fans outside USA always suffer the big discrimination on shipping quotes from USA projects and now... it is the same (unless living in UK).

Personally, I like much more the future design than this one...

I'm guessing you didn't really read the ad copy on the page where they're selling Altruism decks.  I have a quote for you below, with a few items in bold for emphasis:


We have also created a limited run of 2,500 white Altruism decks, which we have dubbed Snow Owls. The Snow Owls are not yet for sale, and so far have only been offered as a special promotional item.


That one paragraph makes it pretty clear that these were never intended strictly as a promotional item for selling bricks of the regular version.  2,500 were printed, and to say they are "not yet for sale" implies that they eventually will be.  At no point did TBC say this deck would never go on sale or only be strictly a promo item.  That copy was there from day one when this deck went on sale.

Well Don, you are right, we would have had to read it carefully (I bought a brick too despite of my dramatic budget condition just to get the snow owl) as I didn't notice that, but, honestly, I agree with CBJ they could wait to put on sale the snow owl a little bit more, specially having in mind the ones that bought the bricks have not even received our decks....

I am sorry, but I don't like this kind of movement, and, as CBJ says, I assume the whole responsibility of my acts, but I have the right to state I don't like it at all.
