We are open to all of those things but do not want to make things more complicated than need be.
Let's try to get those forum members ordering now to post when things arrive so that we have an idea of postal times directly from Taipei.

2
We are excited to say that Conjuring Arts has a small number of Delirium for sale now too.
Also Conjuring Arts is releasing the long awaited EVIL deck by Giovanni!
Check them both out here: http://shop.conjuringarts.org/store/pc/Delirium-and-Evil-Cards-c188.htm

It should also be noted that Conjuring Arts is testing direct fulfillment from Taipei. This means that we didn't take the 30-40 days to ship the cards to the U.S. to fulfill the orders but will fulfill by Taiwan Post worldwide. The postage prices are the same as always and we expect the orders to go out and deliver very quickly saving everyone time.
If this works as expected Expert PCC will offer this direct fulfillment to card designers and publishers so that decks can be shipped much more quickly after production and not get held up with sea freight delays.

This deck is really amazing and if I can weigh in, don't worry about the costs yet. Make the best deck possible.
And since you are printing with Expert I can tell you that the extra color won't really cost you any more.
I probably shouldn't get a vote but #1 is my favorite and #2 seems perfect for Sombra.

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Les Printemps by Ricky Smith [DANANDDAVE.COM]
« on: December 06, 2014, 05:28:40 PM »
Hi Guys,
This was an especially fun project for us because Ricky is such an important part of Conjuring Arts (which owns Expert PCC).
We did these in Master Finish. Presently the first and only decks Expert has released using Classic Finish are the Classic series. Other custom decks will come out soon from other designers using Classic finish. Many guys really like the more embossed and more papery feel of Classic.
We are starting to adopt the "Genie" as our main logo and you will see his face on our website, Zen decks, our standard Ace of Spades and other swag that is coming soon.
Before Expert we printed a bit over 100,000 decks at USPCC and they were all marketed by Conjuring Arts. We put Conjuring Arts name on these decks and occasionally we heard from magicians that during a performance (or after) a curious laymen picked up the deck's box and read the word "Conjuring" and immediately assumed the deck was trick. We thought that by using the Genie face we could still keep something magical on the cards without spectators thinking the deck was trick.
Hope this clears a few things up.

And just in case anyone has any money left...
Conjuring Arts is offering some more discounts now through tomorrow noon EST.

Just placed an order with LPCC.  Noticed that they had the Serpentine pair listed at $6.75 on the main Black Friday page, but the actual product page and cart listed them at $8.75.  Regardless, some really great prices on several decks I've been wanting to get.  Thanks EPCC & LPCC!

Question about the EPCC deal.  Was the bonus Red Zen Prototype deck for any of the 1st 144 orders, or only the 1st 144 orders of the Zen Brick Special?  It's not clear from the post.

I'm guessing it is first 144 customers with the brick. Kinda suck as they release this in the late hours of my night and started at 7am in my morning. And i don't know if i can still get it because it ain't listed in my shopping cart.

It was meant to be the first 144 orders of anything in the Black Friday sale. Sorry for not being clear about it.
We didn't have a way with our shopping cart to indicate the Bonus deck was included so I'm going to extend the offer for all orders through Noon tomorrow will get the Bonus Red Zen Prototype deck for free. It won't show up in the cart but we will put one in each package for sure.
I'm really sorry this was so confusing and hope everyone will bear with us.
We also have really, really fixed the problem with the "no shipping" error too and think everyone can order the Brick deal now.

bk

9
I figured out the glitch and it's fixed.

You need to go to the more details page and choose the Shipping pull down choice of Anywhere in the USA.
Then it will work.

Anyone who got caught on this let me know and we will find a Prototype deck for you.

SORRY!

I tried to buy a Zen brick. Got this message as I was filling out payment info:

"No shipping rates were returned for your order. The shipping provider's server may be unavailable at this time. Please try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, please contact the store administrator."

Refreshed a few times, it's been a few minutes. Still the same.

Can't complete my order :/

Same here. I wish we wouldnt miss out on the Zen prototype.

Hi Guys,
I really don't know what that error is but just send us an email to orders@conjuringarts.org and I GUARANTEE that you will get what you want, at the proper price and based on the time stamp you should get the bonus deck too.
I'm really sorry for the trouble and don't know why it is doing that.

bk

11
The deck isn't added to your cart but the first 144 orders will get a deck added to their shipment.
Good point that this isn't clear though and I'll fix it.

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Best Tuck Box of 2014

We nominate the Aquila Limited edition deck by Kardify, Ade Suryana and produced by Lawrence Sullivan of Legends PCC. I know it hasn't been seen yet but it is far and away the finest production values for a tuck yet released by anyone, anywhere.

Thanks for the nomination Tom!

And to prove we aren't biased over here at Expert we want to nominate the Aquila Limited Edition by Kardify and Ade Suryana, produced by Legends PCC. I have to say the tuck on this deck is absolutely the gold standard at this time!

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Classic Twins and Classic Black on sale now.
« on: October 29, 2014, 07:56:12 PM »

I bought a brick of them and I can't wait to get them! I'm usually very happy with Conjuring Arts and EPCC but I just don't know about this double tuckbox. .. Crying babies like me would probably complain about the lack of practicality :) I can appreciate the fact that it's different but what are your thoughts on this, Bill?

I agree that the double tuck will be a bit less practical for some. I loved the idea and couldn't resist but I can see that it won't be something every magician will want to use all the time. Alternatively, I think the make of the Classic Black tuck (with synthetic stock) will be really pleasing for magicians because I really think it will never wear out.
I bet a clever guy like you will find an amazing effect using two decks and then the twinbox will be a godsend!

And we might also mention that the wonderful Twinbox idea was pinched from a set of decks done by Aristocrat many many years ago. We got this from Tom and Judy Dawson!
Thanks Tom and Judy!

Playing Card Plethora / Classic Twins and Classic Black on sale now.

Classic Twins and Classic Black on sale now

Hi Everyone,
In case anyone didn't get the email, Conjuring Arts is presently offering a great introductory offer on bricks of EPCC Classic Twins with a free Classic Black deck thrown in for good measure. This package will cost over $83 when the offer expires but for 48 hours you can get this bundle for $54.99 postpaid in the U.S. (add $19.99 for everywhere else).
We are really excited to launch our new Classic Finish and Classic Faces. Lawrence Sullivan at Legends discovered the Classic Finish a year ago and used it on Sharps and we think it's going to be extremely popular with magicians and anyone who handles cards a lot.
We also are introducing our new synthetic stock for tuck cases. This has long been a goal of ours and it will save many a table worker from disaster when inadvertently setting their deck in water on a table. The limited edition Classic Black deck (free with the bundle or available separately for $14.95 plus shipping) has it's tuck made with this synthetic paper.

Expert Playing Card is so excited we can barely stand it!
Just back from a visit to our Taiwan factory and we can now confirm that the absolutely amazing 52 Plus Joker deck designed for the club by Jackson Robinson is a reality!
We are very proud to have worked with a number of club members and Jackson to create what will likely be considered the deck of the year.
Even though we would love to post a picture it's been decided that the deck will be launched at a special cocktail party to be held at the Club convention coming up mid October in Charleston, SC. This will be the first place to see this deck and also be the way to buy it!
Dying of curiosity yet? Then it's time to register for the convention and come see this deck and everything else planned for Charleston.

Custom Decks
As many of you already know, Expert PCC produces cards for Conjuring Arts to sell as well as custom printing for other customers. In an effort to make it easier to manage custom projects we have published a questionnaire on our ExpertPlayingCard.com website. Just got to http://expertplayingcard.com/home/custom/custom-questionnaire/ and fill it out and we can get right back with a general quote etc.

So if I have no interest in 1 noc, much less 12. No option for zen?  :(
I'm not feeling very zen like now  :(

The Zen isn't dead! The release version is in production if you don't want the experimental version just hold on.

Here is a little early info for forum dwellers.

As many will already know from this thread and elsewhere, Expert Playing Card has been working on a new red Zen deck. This is the deck with the detailed retro back design and sideways embossed and foiled tuck. In our efforts to keep pushing the boundaries of fine deck production we have done some experimenting with the deck's coating chemistry. Becuase the red Zen and Zen Pure are experimental prototypes these decks will not be for sale, ever. Instead we are going to give them away starting this afternoon!
For each mixed brick of NOCs you buy from Conjuring Arts you will get one experimental prototype Zen deck. I hope this will please both NOC lovers and deck collectors.
Please keep an eye out for the announcement today.

Hi 21,
We are not presently publishing general price lists. But are available to quote specific decks via email. Please send us your specifics at custom-orders@expertplayingcard.com and we can give you a specific quote.

23
Thanks Don! You are a great cheerleader for us and we truly appreciate it.

24
It's official! We have a website! http://expertplayingcard.com
Of course more and more content will be added over time but it gives you an overview of what we are doing.
Thank you to Aron Prins for implementing the design for us!
You will also notice there is not a place on the site to buy anything. The decks meant for our own release will be sold via ConjuringArts.org

I should probably apologize but we have been unable to resist the temptation to post some images of a short series we are releasing in the near future.

There will be 2 decks in it initially, Zen and Zen Pure.

The Zen deck is our redrawn version of an amazing old design by Samuel Murray of National Playing Card Co. from about 125 years ago. It's an art nouveau style back with our Exquisite faces. We used our sideways tuck made of solid red premium stock with black foil, foil over embossing and blind embossing.
We dubbed it Zen (Mr. Murray didn't) in an homage to one of our favorite books, Zen in the Art of Archery by Eugen Herrigel. This great book explains the thought process behind world-class archery and this same technique can be transferred to high level sleight of hand.
We really love this design and how the cards perform. On the Zen we used the same stock and coating as Exquisite and Zenith.

Zen Pure could have been called Zen V2 but we though that wasn't an interesting name.
Zen Pure is the exact back design of Zen with all the extra details removed except the two outer lines and the faces. We used the same PMS color so that magicians might have some fun doing color changes where just some of the design disappears.
Believe it or not the whole design was spawned by just fooling around with Zen and only after it was finalized and printing did we realize how similar it was to other solid color with pendant back designs that already exist. It wasnt intentially derived from Wynn or Madisons or IMPS (which we hadn't seen when this was done) or any other deck. It was just a "pure" version of the Zen we had.

We will release the Zen first in the next couple of weeks and then later in the summer we will release the Zen Pure. I'm sorry that means that some customers will double up on postage but we don't think it wise to relase them at the same time. We printed a good supply and will not call them limited so if some collectors want to wait to order both they are probably safe in that. We can't guarantee that Zen won't sell out right  away, but, per our custom, we will reserve some for future variety boxes. That way the colletor who want's everything will have at least two bites at the apple.

I hope this explains things for everyone but if not I'll be happy to clarify anything fuzzy. For more images etc. we will post them form time to time and in various places. Probably our Instagram account ExpertPCC is the first place we will release images of our upcoming decks.
