What is the most rare or most expensive deck of card in your collection??

I thought it would be interesting to see some of the gems that people have in their collection. For me it would either be either the Gold Monarchs or my Smoke and Mirrors series. I know we have some longtime collectors and some brand new collectors, so I'm sure there is a great deal of variety in our decks.

And one final question... If you could add any ONE deck to your collection what deck would it be??

Mine are LTD, Gold Arcane, and Red Artifice.

Rarest: 12 Red Artifice, 15 Black Crown, 2 LTD

If I could add any deck: Jerry's Nuggets, Red White Lions, Gold Arcane, and Black Ghost 1st Edition.

I think if I could add any deck to my collection it would be either jerry's or the purple (between prints) white lions!

I'm pretty curious as to what CBJ, Curt, and Alex's answers are to this...

Right now Im pretty proud of my 23 decks of Smoke & Mirror V1's. Bought 2 bricks of each the first night they were released and have only opened up 1 deck. Also pretty pumped about my 3 decks of White Centurions.
The one deck I would love to have at the moment would be the Black Ghost First Edition. Which just so happens to be on its way cause I just made a big order from E : )
These are just a couple of my rare decks. I have many more to list but didnt wanna stray to far from listing just a one or two of them.

Wow! Those are some sweet decks! I'm sure everybody would love to hear some of the other rare decks you have haha I wish I had a few more of the S&M V1s

maybe we could work something out..... I have a gold monarch I would be willing to part with, and I am really wanting a set of D&D v1's, PM me if you are interested, maybe we can come to an agreement.

Anyway.

My rarer decks are: Gold Monarchs & 3 Red Artifice
and as my signature says, I would love a set of v1's, or a set of Cage Gardens

Most expensive? I have a deck partially made from 24k gold...

I'd like to add at least 1 brown wynns and I really liked the Gallaher's cigarette playing cards but an incomplete set on eBay is almost £1000 (family history with the company but not a grand's worth of sentimental value).

Black Ghost 1st Edition
Red Artifice
Gold Arcane
an opened deck of Broken Spell - I NEVER see these up for sale, they're that freakin' rare.
an opened Brown Wynn's
Black New Fan Back
Vision
Black and White Pirate
some USPC sample decks of traditionally-cut Bee Diamond Backs, no casino imprint

There's probably more but that's all I can recall off the top of my head

Most expensive deck, in term of what I paid:
"Get Sharkey" red Phoenix deck - it's an awesome high-impact trick

On my want list:
Moth/Myth
Watcher
White Centurions
White New Fan Back
those extra decks that came with Blaine's White Lions AIP
an extra Brown Wynn's
an extra Broken Spell (sh'yeah, like that'll happen...)
Luck of the Draw (probably more rare than Broken Spell! Only about 500 exist.)
A sealed pack of the first Rider Back decks - hey, a guy can dream...

If anyone's got spares of the want list decks, I'll trade Gold Arcanes, a BG1E, Red Artifice, White Arrcos, and when I have some, Black Crowns and Fulton's. I generally try to get decks in pairs - a player and a keeper.

My rarest decks will be : 2 set of Cage Gardens, a blue jerry, 3 gold arcane, 8 ra, One 1st ed black ghost, One red golden nugget, One white centurion, One v1 set, One moth myth, 3 watcher plus one uncut, One new fan back set, One magic con, 3 IAOCP, One gargoyle expo, 2 brown wynns.

Deck I really wants are: All other colors of Golden Nugget, vintage silver nugget, vintage dunes, vintage carson city nugget, and maybe a gold monach (but I guess that wont happen).

i have 2 Red & Blue sets of Jerry's Nugget's which are still in very good condition. and 1 super used incomplete deck of Jerry's. 1 Friars Club Deck. and one Red Golden Nugget deck on it's way. all of which i was able to get way under current market value. 1 Brown Wynn, 1 Magic Con, a mixed brick of Smoke & Mirrors V3, 1 Smoke & Mirror V2 set. a brick of arrcos blue seals, 2 mixed bricks of watermelon, 10 v5, brick of v6, 3 v4, 2 vodka.

i know that it says most rare, and expensive deck, but in truth, these are all rare and expensive decks.

I'm jealous ): only got two red artifice. gonna have a ltd flying in soon.. Got a few decks which I love such as D&D S&Ms, gonna get my red one soon, got the blue one and love it! also, fulton's joint clip is amazing, fell in love with the tuck box too haha, wish I had the money to get more decks...

Yeah, It's definitely one of those face palm moments. Years ago when I was into cards, I bought one, and it's in a case somewhere with a couple first edition black tigers, white ghost etc. Now I have no idea where they are

There are others but where do you draw the line at what is perceived as a rare or valuable deck?

Wow, it's starting to seem like every deck is a "RARE" Deck these days.
