Tungstene Deck QR Code Translations

So I have scanned and translated the QR codes from the Tungstene deck from Dan & Dave.

This French Deck sold by Dan & Dave features custom court cards with QR codes that link to French quotes and sayings. This deck was only released in a limited amount and thus many don't have this deck. I have attached a document that showcases each court card and the two jokers along with the quote from the QR code and it's translation. Enjoy looking over it!!

Thats so awesome! We can finally see all of the designs! I can't imagine how long it took to design that deck.

Yeah the designs are some amazing works!! I really love the custom court cards and the style. Hopefully you all can enjoy viewing them!! And it's cool to know the quotes that go along with them as well.

Although I wish it could have been one pdf. It would just work better that way.

Incredible!!! Thanks so much!!! I've been waiting forever to see these because I don't generally open my decks... And you don't know how long it took me to find an honorable person to sell me a Tungstene at a reasonable number who didn't thing that they were selling the lost ark... The work you put into this was just phenomenal...  10 out of 10...


One last test... There are six codes on the box itself... Three and then three... I tried myself, being that it was the box, but I'm thinking the cellophane somehow got into the way... You're already a hero to the people... Any chance of figuring out the box codes?  Again, Thanks... J.

I tried scanning those multiple times with 4 different apps on my phone with no luck. I scanned the box and changed the resolution and messed with the contrast and everything and still no luck. I've come to the conclusion that those don't lead to anything and are just for looks. I could be wrong though. If somebody has had success scanning those please let me know, thanks!

Wow, being fully bilingual, I was expecting a horrible translation, but, I have to admit that I am very impressed. Nice job. Unfortunately, the punctuation and accents are missing in the French quotes. Also, I think D&D could have picked better quotes in French related to cards, much better ones as a matter of fact... but, anyways. Nice jobs, David!

I may be mistaken, but I didn't think D&D had anything to do with designing this deck... I thought the deck was purely designed by Jacques Denain and Henri de Saint Julien.  I don't think D&D or Mr. Fulton have the creative juices to get something going like this on many different levels...  Perhaps a gold dragon with gold standard court cards that've been around since the early 1900s... But nothing like the Tungstene... If I am wrong and they had anything to do with the design of the deck, then please pardon me...

Yeah Dan and Dave had nothing to do with this deck besides sell it. It was from Dan and Dave but not by Dan and Dave. I used google translate for this project haha so some of the translations were off and I didn't have accents.

So - did anyone scan the QR code on the card backs?  Are they all the same QR code?

Wouldn't it be funny if the QRs on the backs were marks identifying the card!  "Oh, I'm just checking my email, not suspiciously aiming my phone's camera at your cards..."

Okay sorry, the box and the backs are the same. Both had zero luck scanning with many different scanning apps. So I guess they don't lead to anything (yet? haha).

Yeah it's been cleared up. I said from Dan & Dave not by Dan & Dave. I never meant that Dan and Dave made these. I think most everybody that has this deck got it from Dan and Dave, so that's why I used that wording. Sorry if anybody was confused by my wording

Yeah but it seems he's going for a comical approach to the whole deck. You see the American with his video games and McDonalds haha I know most of my friends being American rarely eat McDonalds but it still has it's comedic vibe to it.
