Yeah they look really old style to me, and I like that. And you really can't beat the price!! I know I'll be picking up some. @Sabacc are you gonna get some of these for the collection?

I've already sent PS52 a PM on that very subject...  I'm planning to get a pair, but I'm thinking of combining this order with a few other decks - might as well, since I'm already paying shipping, right?

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm hoping to get some of the domebacks as well! I love the Aladdins so why not!!

The Domebacks handle very nicely, and I'm fond of the design - it's got an old-school, hand-drawn look to it.  They may have scanned and tweaked the originals to make the new ones.  And this air-cushioned version doesn't appear to have the supposed flaws of the original USPC a-c version - the consensus on those from people who own them is that they handled very poorly.

Well it's good to know that the new ones are well liked! I've always like the aladdins, but been bummed there are so few variations of the 1001s. I'm excited to get these now! What other decks were you looking to get with the stars? (if you don't mind me asking that is)

Haven't given it a good look yet, though I know pokerstud52 carries a lot of good stuff; I've bought from him before.  I won't be ordering more than a couple of decks.  I have pretty much everything new right now...
