I have never seen this deck before! It may be very old and that could be why or could be a possible new deck.

I've researched some Bicycle cards and I don't recognize this as one of their older decks (I'm sure CBJ knows  8) )

Here it is...

I have seen this deck before. Vmagic / vjose32 has a good review of these decks on YouTube.

Thanks for the shoutout! These are not new but are hard to find and are from the Philippines.

yah, I've too seen this on various playing card sites. They are a deck put together in a theme of the Philippians. I for one like the idea of this deck, even though it's a one way back, the design is striking.

These look like a poor cut-and-paste job to me.  Totally not a fan.  The back would be OK if it wasn't one-way.

If you ever think you have a genuinely new deck just because you never saw it before, try looking here first:

http://playingcards.wikidot.com/

Where you'll find that EXACT photo, here:

http://playingcards.wikidot.com/bicycle:pilipinas

They don't have every deck, but they do have a huge reference library of them to see.  I love this site.

Look like a merz deck but in Philippine style..

Merz67 would have to buff up his skills to make a deck with this much creativity.  It's not the most creative deck on earth, but Merz67 is far and away not the most creative deck designer...  There are some primitive trilobite fossils that are a little less creative than he is, and perhaps also my pet dust rhino, but that's about it.

These look like a poor cut-and-paste job to me.  Totally not a fan.  The back would be OK if it wasn't one-way.

Yeah, but they're a patriotic deck.  Can you tell me you've seen better US patriotic decks?  Most of them are as exciting as evaporated dishwater.  I'm still trying to figure out what's so freakin' appealing about the '08 Election decks to some.

Jeez! It's not like I didn't research it before! You act like I was trying to be the first to have info on this "possibly new deck". I clearly state that I had never seen it and was wondering what it was.

Of course that EXACT photo is somewhere on the web! I couldn't find out any information on it though. I use that site quite often too, I just never noticed that they had this deck.  Know that some other people have kindly informed me of the deck I'll lock this thread.

OK, relax...  Remember there are plenty of decaf brands now that taste just like the real thing...

:) :) :)

No offense was intended.  I was simply pointing out a very cool online resource, and the source of your photo.  You really should check out that website - you can kill a lot of time looking over the card decks they have listed.  I've been thinking of contributing photos of decks they're lacking pictures of.

So take a nice deep breath...  Mmmm....  Now, let it out, slowly....    Ahh.....  Doesn't that feel better?

I found that website earlier this year, and I killed so much time on it. For, literally, at least a month, I set this page as my homepage, and every day when I switched on my laptop, I'd just spend some time browsing through the website. I found out about some pretty cool decks, and the collection of the person who runs that site is also really impressive. It's a great resource for any less experienced collectors, although I wish they'd update some more of their 'uncreated' pages; the ones that say "The page does not (yet) exist".

@sabacc if you read my post I clearly state that I have used that site quite often.

@lushbob it is a pretty sweet site. When I first started collecting I ran across it and spent forever on it. I still check it out once in while. It's one of the better playing card information sites.

You might have mentioned this previously, but not in this topic.  Forgive my poor memory.  Again, no offense was intended, and none is now.

I think the site creator accepts submissions, if you have photos and info about a deck that he's lacking such details on.  Have you considered submitting?

Yeah, I thought he might do, seeing as it's a wiki. Unfortunately, the 'uncreated' pages are mainly cards that I'm interested in, and do not yet have. Although there are a few that I hope to be getting soon. If I get them, I'll be sure to contact him with any photos and information I have.
Thanks for the heads up!

The quote at the top of this post is the initial post I commented on and about which I first mentioned the Playing Cards Wiki.  There was no mention of the site in that post.  That is what I was referring to.  Please, don't see bad intent on my part - there truly is none.  You mentioned it AFTER this post, yes.  As far as the time quote, I'm not finding that precise time - here's what I see, quoting all your other messages from this topic.

The closest match would be the one I have timestamped as being at 5:54 AM on Sunday 12/25.  We're in different time zones?  I'm in US Eastern.

Really, bro - I believe you.  The Wiki is an awesome site.  I was in no way trying to knock you for bringing this to our attention - it's actually an interesting-looking deck and I enjoyed being reminded about it by you.  I'm not in any way trying to demean you or put you down.  Truce?  Cease fire?  [Waving white flag]
