So this is by no means a deck intended for magicians, but I thought since most of us are cards fanatics you would all enjoy this.

Chris Anderson designed some Pixar playing cards for his university project. They look awesome! And the simplistic design is cool with the red, white, and blue color scheme. Also these aren't going to be for sale as far as I know. (especially with copyright issues)

ENJOY!  :)

Also, here is a link to his website if  you want to check out his other work... LINK

What I wouldn't do for this deck of cards, Magic and Disney are my two biggest passions in life, and my god I love that artwork and its minimalist character design :)
Mystery is the basic appeal of magic. Once the secrets are known, the magician becomes a mere manipulator, an actor in a suspense drama which has little impact because the audience knows the ending in advance.

The deck box is in the 2nd picture, the 1st picture is probably the additional safe box it comes with. It's just like DB's double deck deal, he always includes an stunning box that's able to hold two decks.

Not my kind of thing but it's certainly a really fun little thing.  I'm glad it exits, even if I don't actually want it.

I dunno - I might have preferred that it entered instead!  [RIMSHOT!]   8)

This item won't be for sale haha It was the designers university project. I'm pretty sure he's keeping it for himself.  :)

You want one so bad - make it!  It's what he did.  Those are handmade cards.

Haha not at all! Even with the simplistic design this would be a hard one! I'm sure it took Chris many hours until he got it just right, and it was for University so I'm sure there were countless drafts and whatnot. It's pretty inspiring though to somebody like me who is an aspiring artist!! Lots of respect for Mr. Anderson and his work

"Easy" and "worthwhile" rarely describe the same action.

The style and design are really sweet! I don't think the artist will be able to print and sell them though. Disney lawyers would pounce on them faster than Buzz could say "To infinity and ...." It looks like the designer, Chris Anderson, created them for a portfolio piece while he was in a University. He can definitely use them to garner attention in places like Under Construction and magazines like PRINT and HOW. They should be able to easily land him a nice design job out of college!

thanks, Randy

Now we do :P

Curt, can you please combine these threads? Thx.

I personally think the person who printed this deck at home did a great job. The cards and the box look fantastic.
