Ok. I agree with everything said so far. No, we need to get some stuff clearly.
We need a leader or co-leaders. Some that are good artists, and have and know how to use photoshop or a similar App. Krystlelane, would you be willing to be one of the co-founders?
I unfortunately can't because I am not a good artist.
I like the back design, but I think:
1) The colors are too flashy.
2) Are names could be written very small on the backs.

The idea of this deck was for it to be crazy. So lets get to work!

Just don't ask questions, and do. Throw yourself into it, nothing is too crazy. You guys, keep all the doodles you make, and don't erase them because they are very nice and could be useful. As for the ace of diamonds, it's really nice, but you should play a bit with blurriness and twist it around a bit. Very nice job, all of you guys. Lets make this a great souvenir of our fun time and great team at the discourse!!!!!!!!

Should I customize my pips for the 9's? Because if not there is really nothing I am doing.

Yeah just curious, I scanned the thread but i may have missed something. What's the theme of the deck? And is every card going to have custom different pips etc?
Yes, you should, if possible. The theme of the deck is crazy. Eveything should be different from card to card, except for the backs.

I think that you guys should try getting all the help you can from many great card lovers, so they can help with this deck. For example, SacProductions101.
Ty,
Nathan

The more professional looking ones aren't my own. The others are examples of crazy ideas.

2880
Ok. I have an idea. I think this deck should have a consistent back, but be kinda crazy for everything else. Just let your imagination go. The pips don't need to be the same in my opinion.

Ok. I think the back design is a very good start. You should do it on the computer though. We want a classy, metalic-like style. Can I see your ace plz?

2883
Okay. Make the back design. We can start drawing and then we can figure out how to fit it in the right dimensions. Thx smetal.

It looks amazing, although I do own a couple decks with white borders the same size. I might put pictures up. Good luck!

Hey, we are planning on making a deck called the Discourse deck together, with most Discourse members. If you want, you could be a part of it. Here is the thread where we plan it all out. We could use your doodles!

I would definitely pick my S&M V1 :D

Discourse Deck, planning.
Tell me if you are okay with what I assigned you.

Ok. If possible, start doodling and coming up with ideas for the back, and your assigned card(s). We can work from there. I do not want to sound harsh, but if we want this to work out, we can't sit with our arms crossed, waiting for the others to do the work. I am willing to carry this project as long as we all contribute. Let's get started and try having some rough drafts of cards and back designs by Sunday February 5th, 2012, 6PM Pacific Standard Time.
We should have a group iChat session as soon as possible, too, with the printed version of the cards. BTW, the non-court cards do not need to be very complicated.
Good luck,
Nathan
PS: plz tell me if you're good with what I put in the list. Alex has already clearly stated what he would help with, but said he wouldn't carry the project.

They rly look nice for collecting!

2891
For drawing, u can use free programs such as Artrage, Tux Paint, Seashore. I'll start pretty soon. Sumo paint is also amazing for drawing.

2892
lets just start doodling what comes to mind, upload, and criticize, and then redo it again. Custom pips seems like a good idea, they are just rly hard to make. We need about 10 more people involved into this to make it better and bigger.

2893
I think no skulls is a better idea. If you can just draw doodles it would be great. :D

2894
The problem does not lie in whether or not it gets funded, but in if you would be willing to work on it. I believe if its good enough it would get funded, as, if everyone working on designing it bought it, it would almost already be funded. The funds would go to Aether Cards. However, who would be willing to bring it to USPCC once the designs would be completed, perfected, and approved by all?
What theme for the cards?
Skull or no skull?
Sci-fi style?
Custom faces, box, and backs? and bonus cards?
We would need to start off with a doodle. Who is with me?

2895
I was thinking that all of us card experts could perhaps all work together on creating designs for a custom deck of cards. Do you think that would be a good idea? Just a hypothetical question.

2896
In Wonderland, anything is possible... ;D
If I can manage to save up enough money, I wouldn't mind seeing a deck of fultons in one of those. ;)
If I managed to save up enough money, I would buy a brick of every released deck. :D and an uncut sheet wouldn't hurt either... in my dreams.

I would love to see a box made out of a material other than cardboard. This is a great thread!

Glad to have you among us! and proud of it too!
