Hello all

Firstly, probably should apologise for disappearing in a huff last time, when I got what I perceived as an unwelcome reception. Don and others in the industry have since convinced me to not be so touchy and get my butt back on here, for which I thank them!

So anyway, I'm not here just for pleasantries....there is a very special deck hitting Kickstarter tomorrow at 6pm EST....the Vegas Diffractor Deck, combining the VXD patented tech with Lance T Miller's awesome artwork. Hope you like what we've been working tirelessly on for months (and years before on the tech / factories). Here is the KS link:

Cheers and hope all are well.

You another look at the KS video:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zeedog/vertex-deck-vxd-las-vegas-edition

You'll notice that all the standard spade pips holographics also do not conform to the rules of the flag. Then take a look at the stars and also the stripes on the blue and red metal cases...they also do not conform.

Do not try to suggest I am disrespecting any flag / tradition / country or whatever else. It is art!

As to your veiled accusation regarding KS rules and my printing....totally baseless. What are your motivations for such an accusation I wonder.

Based on the negativity and the accusations, I can see I'm not welcome here. So I will no longer post.

I guess this will have to be part of this first edition's 'quirk' or 'charm' then, if that's the case. I shall be sure to prepare myself for being arrested at the airport.

Joking aside, thanks for the observation, Skinny.

Do you like the look of the new tech? Is that of interest to you? As said, I am looking forward to the reviews of the handling on this very 'flash' deck and looking forward to getting it shown off by a talented cardist!

Any cardists volunteering? (a free deck would find it's way to you shortly) ;)

Regards

Don

I cannot wait for people to get the cards in their hands and especially cardists. I'm not a cardist so it's not going to be easy for me to show on any half-decently produced video. The proof will well and truly be in the pudding on this one. It will blow all gold-foiled decks out of the water, hands-down.

I shall await acknowledgment of that. In the meantime, I may actually get a professional cardist to demonstrate for us on a video and in a appropriately lit room.

Hello there Don

Yes we are a brand new playing card company, VERTEX DECK. We do not use any of the normal playing card manufacturers such as USPCC or EPC or Cartamundi etc.

We have a very specialist factory in Germany that is primarily engaged in producing ID / security cards and high-end packaging for major commercial brands. It took years to find a factory that was able to deliver our specification. We searched China, UK, USA before we found our factory and then did testing and sampling for about 2 years before launch.

This new type of playing card just couldn't be made at USPCC, EPC or the rest....what we've done is unique....and patented (as you may have noticed on the video and KS description).

I hope you like the look of them so far. I'm looking forward to people receiving them and reviewing them.

Regards

Hello all

I have just come across this forum today (apologies for the somewhat late arrival to this party) and would like to introduce my new playing card company, VERTEX DECK.

We have invented a new type of playing card, VXD playing cards, which in summary allow flashy customisation and an addition layer of artwork on the FRONTS of the playing card, while maintaining the traditional ink artwork 100% and also maintaining very good overall handling.

For any who would like to view a video and see images of this first edition we have produced, please see the following link to the Kickstarter campaign, which is about 9 days in and has 25 days remaining live:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zeedog/vertex-deck-vxd-las-vegas-edition

All the best and I hope to get involved here now on this forum.

Thank you.
