My name is Bill and my posting name comes from a character in a book I wrote.  I love all types of art, not just language arts.  I am a part-time magician and my regular gig is an elementary school art teacher.  My introduction to magic were the card tricks my uncle showed me and, therefore, I will always hold card magic as a special love.  I have recently started to collect them (about 4 years ago, if you can call the recent).  Have a couple ideas for some card designs and hope to glean some words of wisdom from fellow card lovers and see what  cool artwork appears here.

Welcome to the forum, Bill.  I used to visit North Carolina now and then - until recently, my mom lived just outside the Piedmont Triad, a half-hour drive from Winston-Salem.  She moved to South Carolina now - I'm hoping she doesn't get flooded out like what happened last year!

Let us know if you have any questions that the search feature couldn't answer for you.  We don't haze newbies - the only dumb question is the one you couldn't answer and didn't ask!
