Playing Card Plethora / Whispering Imps®: Gamesters Edition Playing Cards (KS)

Alright...I'm back....Hi everyone!  Been a busy year with work so I apologize for not contributing as much as I'd like to the forums.  Finally ready to launch the Gamesters.   I'll be raising funds on Kickstarter for this deck because it's a brand new design (and not a recolor).  I funded the Whispering Imps® Black Edition & Private Reserves myself because (for the most part) the artwork stayed the same and I didn't feel right using KS for funding a recolor.

Gamesters launch on Kickstarter Monday, December 15th.  Below are some photos that I'm happy to share with you of the new deck.

Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 has a pretty sweet thing started called "Hi My Name Is Mark."   Clothing, art, accessories, etc....and now playing cards.  In one of his email newsletters...this image was attached. 

Pretty nice looking cards if you ask me.

Hey Folks,

Just wanted to give you all the heads up about a new deck i've been working on since last year with Mark Stutzman called the "Whispering Imps™ Playing Cards". I drew my inspiration from Harry Kellar's original Imps poster from 1894.  After researching and collecting hundreds of decks I noticed an "Imp" deck had never been created...until now.  It's been a lot of hard work but my hope is that you will all enjoy how it's turned out.

My Kickstarter campaign will launch June 1st and I'll be sure to give you all a heads up with the link as soon as I can.

Playing Card Plethora / The Spare Room - "Fraggle Rock" Playing Cards

The Spare Room here in Hollywood at The Roosevelt Hotel teamed up with Jim Henson Company to throw a Fraggle Rock 30th anniversary party the other night.  From it came this really nice, completely custom deck of limited edition playing cards.  They are selling them on their website.  My guess is that only printed 2500. 

The tuck box color is a bit off in the graphics on the site but the actual product is quite beautiful. I've posted a few photos on my instagram: http://instagram.com/thecardcatalog

Playing Card Plethora / #playingcards on Instagram

I know i'm a newbie when it comes to contributing to the forums, but I'm a long time card collector and enthusiast.  I love that there is a hashtag on Instagram for #playingcards.  I started taking photos in my spare time using my iPhone and posting them on Instagram for other fans of playing cards.  Just thought i'd share it with all of you.
