Interesting concept, but definitely more of a novelty than a seriously-designed deck.  No mention of who the printer will be.

No mention of who the printer will be.

They say it's being printed by the USPCC.

They either edited the copy or you have better eyes than me.  I'll go with the latter!  :))  Good catch.

But what do you think of the deck?

I actually kind of like it.

The art style is sketchy in a really cool way. If all the court cards also have characters that are just as Iconic as the queen, this deck could shape up to be really neat.

Then again, the back is the crux of a card deck. We'll have to see what the designer has in mind.

As I'm seeing it, this is a novelty deck, start to finish.  That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it isn't terribly practical, to boot.  Notice that the top-left index has the card value and the top right one has the suit?  How the hell do you hold cards like that and know what's in your hand without a lot of shuffling around?

This is being created more for the artwork and the novelty of the drinking information rather than for any practical purpose.

I quite like this deck. It's not something I would add to my collection because it doesn't quite fit the focus of my collection but the art is really quite nice and has a unique style to it. I would be surprised if this didn't reach it's goal.

That's what I said about SiShou - Four Beasts...

Quite true. But I love novelty decks when they're done right.

The fact that SiShou failed was a crime...
Not to mention it was much better than this.
