Yeah, I saw those. Consider me sufficiently intrigued, it's got a little bit of a Fantastique look.  I see 3 what look like backs though, I wonder if that means they'll pu tout a set of 3 decks with the same theme.  If that's the case I'll be a bit disappointed if they don't go the extra step and put a little something different into the faces of each deck.  I'm also still wondering about the Inferno deck.  Seems like more half-finished products from BBM, but I'd rather a GOOD finished product than a crappy one, so I guess I'll remain cautiously optimistic.

That's exactly what I thought! It really reminds me of the Fantasique deck. I'm actually really looking forward to more from this deck, not because I like it, but I'd want to know how it turns out.

Its a very odd design with a ton of things going on. I do like the checkered illusion that they have going on but thats pretty much all I like about it. I definitely wouldn't buy the first one or the third one... maybe I'd buy the middle one but I'm not a huge fan of it. At least its not FULL of skulls...

The more I look at it the more I like it so if I had to choose, I'd definitely go with the middle one.

Yeah I also got the fantastique vibe. So are those three different backs...? I'm still a little confused. Overall though I'm not a huge fan. Like M.A. said there is too much going on. Although I'll be interested to see more.

Yes, those are 3 different back. They are trying to get peoples opinions to see which back design people like best.

I love the weird perspective and the whole design.  Honestly, BBM never disappoint me in the design department (apart from the concessions made on the Inferno deck, which now looks a bit crap).  It's awesome they've gotten this far into the design just at the planning/prototyping stage!  I think a lot of other companies would just put out these as a 3 deck series.

I really like all three of those. I'm a big fan of surrealism, so it's always a delight to see surreal playing cards. I'll keep my eye on it to see how it develops, but looks like a winner for me.

The plague doctor one would have to be my personal favorite, and it's also the one that blends in the best. I'm not a big fan of the impossible cubes in te corners, though. They kind of clash with the rest of the back, even though I can see why they would be used with the theme.
There is definitely room for improvement, but it's not horrible.
Except maybe for the third one. I just can't get myself to like it.

I'd have to agree.  The middle one, the one with the gas mask, is easily the best of the three.  Judging by the general consensus in this room, I'd say if they only make one of these three, that's the one they should make.  I do however (on all three cards) think the middle 1/3 of an inch horizontally of them needs a little bit of love.  I don't care for the lines that all converge on the center or the beige/gray/tan... blobs that are to the right and left of the center.

I agree, there is a lot going on but I think it is great to have a sophisticated back once in a while.

I think these are rip offs of the Fantastique deck. Downfame me as much as you would like, but I think these are ugly, too crazy, and uninteresting. JMO

I think that the obviously photographic elements throw it off a bit and make it look pieced together. Interesting though!
