I looked into pet sitting, baby sitting, weeding, gardening, walking pets, mowing lawns, cleaning houses and put posters on 15 straight blocks but only got about 7 jobs through the whole year. The problem is mainly that my sister who is 3 years older also does pet, plant and babysitting, and since she is older they would rather hire her than me because she is more responsible. So many don't even try hiring me.

Can you undercut your sister's price? It would make hiring you more competitive.
