<-- I get it, you were feeling all of these emotions for the last 12 hours.

Basically, one of our Databases went insane and ate up too much space which meant we violated our TOS. With the help of Aron, I managed to get the database repaired.

The result is actually kind of cool because the pages should load faster now.

Anyway, now that I know what caused the problem I will make sure to keep that aspect maintained in the future so we don't suffer such insane downtime ever again.

I refresh the site at least once an hour and it was weird pressing on the button in my tabs out of habit and being taken to an error page.

The advantages to sleeping during the daytime - I slept right through it, didn't even know it happened.

I thought the traffic looked lower than usual.

I don't think it was a worm. Lots of time a lot of traffic can also be involved with these sort of issues. My friends's blog had this problem and many sites I frequent have had the same problem. Seeing as this is a site that generates a lot of traffic (the web's home for all things playing cards) that would be a logical explanation.

I would've shared the same thing if I was in China. They tend to block down sites all the time. :S
