What are you guys doing?

I'm going out of town for most of the week to hang out with some friends and family. I've never been the type to celebrate holidays so this should be interesting :P

My brother the culinary-school grad is going to a cousin's house, so no fancy dinner at his place.

Step-son's spending the holiday with his dad - maybe the weekend, I don't know.

So - it's just ME and my lovely WIFE!  Yay!  We're probably going to catch a movie and have turkey at the diner, then come home and snuggle in front of the DVR.  If that's not enough, I have a Mac mini connected to the TV, so Netflix in big screen HD is at our disposal!  It will likely be one of the most peaceful and happiest Thanksgivings I've ever had.

?? what is that? Walmart has no union. Also I asked for the extra hours. They just said overtime was ok so I volunteered to work as much as they would let me. So I get 46 hours this week, and get paid normal for them plus another full days pay. so basically 54 hours worth of pay.

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Going out to dinner with the family.

After a few consecutive years eating at a bad buffet for Thanksgiving because we couldn't get reservations, my parents made reservations at 8 restaurants 2 weeks in advance. Still no idea which one we're eating at.  :P

My mentalism trick...  I can see into the future...

There are seven restaurants that will be very pissed off at your family later today...  plus one crappy buffet that will miss you...

My family does the cooking for thanksgiving so I have a bunch of people coming over to celebrate later on this evening. This basically involves watching football, enjoying a feast, knocking back a few cold beverages, and of course keeping an eye on the time to pick up deals for these new playing cards. Definitely something I will be enjoying since the food at my university is awful and I haven't been home in just under 3 months. I wish you all a very Happy and Warm Thanksgiving =D it sure is cold as hell here in NYC

Hahahaha!

We'll just cancel the rest of the reservations around lunchtime. The restaurants should have no problem filling them.
But yeah. The buffet will miss us. We were like their only customer.  :/
