So it occurred to me that it's been a while since I updated the Terms of Service when registering here. So I updated them. This is a reminder that by maintaining an account here, you agree to the terms below. A tl;dr of the changes to the terms is at the bottom of this post.

Quote
IMPORTANT: Our spam-bot filter catches innocent people from time to time. |||| If you cannot login to your account automatically after activating it via email, or you do not receive an activation email, please make a thread in the Feedback/Support board on the main page with a link to your account profile and your email, or try registering again. ||||

By signing up you agree that you are at least 18 years of age or have express parental permission to sign up on this forum. The staff at PlayingCardForum.com are in no way held accountable of what is posted on here, but you are. We have the right to ban under our own terms.

By registering, you agree that if anything you post or do is considered legally reprehensible, you may be subject to contact with the authorities. However, PlayingCardForum, the PlayingCardForum staff, nor any PlayingCardForum affiliates are in any way responsible for what is posted on these forums. This board is censorship-free and promotes free speech. Anything that is not in one or more of the following categories will not be in any way, shape, or form moderated, censored or bowdlerized: 1. Spam 2. Blatant harassment 3. Trolling and/or flaming. The spam board (The Lol-A-Query-Um AKA Lolaq) is not subject to these guidelines, and your content may be modified there.

By registering, PlayingCardForum is not responsible for your account maintenance, nor is it responsible to keep the content of the forum to your ethical liking. The PlayingCardForum promotes freedom of speech and freedom of viewership. If you do not enjoy a particular comment, it is within your rights to not view it, or to object it within your response.

Our Lol-A-Query-Um board is completely unmoderated and will remain as such. Posts in the Lolaq can be modified without the poster's consent for any reason.

The Discourse is a subsidiary of PlayingCardForum.com.

By registering on The PlayingCardForum, you waive your rights to not follow the rules stated in this registration agreement. Aside from what is stated here, PlayingCardForum and its staff reserve the right to moderate as they see fit.

Your account will not be deleted from the site under any condition. Any non-trademarked content you post here becomes the property of this forum. Any member divulging personal information of another member is at risk of having their posts censored. The staff at PlayingCardForum reserves the right to alter or censor any content that removes anonymity from its members.

WARNING - Certain content on this forum may not be appropriate for people under the age of 18. Please be wary of any thread titled "NSFW" or otherwise questionable in its content.

tl;dr:

- Changed "AetherCards" to PlayingCardForum
- Content in the Lolaq isn't moderated, but can be moderated (so in other words, your thread can be locked if it's too stupid to exist).
- Included a spam-bot disclaimer about failed registrations
- Added a clause that points out that no accounts will be deleted.
- Added a clause that protects members from having their personal information divulged publicly
- Added a clause that specifies that any content posted here is the property of the forum, and not the member (in other words, if someone posts a photo of the deck you're working on, the staff will not take it down for you, but you can contact the member and ask them to do so).

These are the only changes, and all of them were implied before the update to the ToS so nothing will change. This just serves as a friendly reminder to people that, for example, whine about how their terrible threads get moved to the spam boards.

That is all :)

So, out of curiosity, where could one find a copy of the Registration Agreement and Terms of Service?

I'm talking about AFTER one has registered...where do you find it then?

In this thread, I guess. Or open a different browser and click on the registration page.

I'll think of a way of implementing the ToS onto the site. I will probably add a link to the "guidelines" thread.
