It's good stuff - that database is the primary mission of the Conjuring Arts Research Center.  You can tap into a treasure trove of information on magic that's been published over the decades (and in some cases, centuries).  The higher the level of membership you purchase, the more access you get - highest access allows you to perform research at the CARC.

Should there be a permanent CARC thread here or under plethora?
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

If there were enough interest, I'd say yes.  So far, though, unless it's a new deck release, there's not much anyone says about CARC here, this topic being the one exception I can think of in recent history.  Add to that that they are technically not a magic retailer but more of a museum/archive, and interest in them here in the Bonanza drops.  If they had DVDs of people like Eric Jones or Daniel Madison available for download, sure, but most of what they offer access to is in print.  It's an unfortunate fact that the majority of the membership here doesn't read about magic, preferring to absorb it in glowing, changing pixels and sound.
