Title: [ISO] vintage playing card auctions
Post by: Msp062 on March 20, 2018, 03:25:43 PM
Hi everyone,

I am not sure where to post my question so if it needs to be moved, please do.  Is there an efficient way to find out where and when playing card auctions are being held?  I am not thinking about ebay or the club, but local auctions by auction houses around america or the world?  How would I find out when and where they are without just stumbling on them by chance?  Is there a group of auction houses that regularly offer playing cards?

I hope my question makes sense.  Please reply if you can offer advice.

Potter & Potter seems to have a annual playing card auction around May. https://www.potterauctions.com
That’s the only one I know of.

Thanks! I recently learned about this one.  Are there any other noteworthy ones?

I've been told that there are places around Las Vegas where a person with patience, time and a sharp eye can pick up some vintage casino decks - flea markets and the like.
