The "Gambling Protection Series" DVDs, if I'm not mistaken, are what the pros use in casinos to spot cheats. You'll learn the moves and how to detect them.

The Expert at the Card Table was also released as a 7-disc DVD collection - it ain't cheap, but it looks good. Just Google "the expert at the card table dvd" and you'll find it in a few shops, generally in the ballpark of $80-$100.

Jason England has a lot of tutorials for gambling sleights as well on Theory11, and his first "Foundations" DVD is focused on those. Still on the expensive side though.

Best I've seen is Jeff Wessmiller's 'Weapons of the Card Shark', I'd recommend it.

It's very hard to get the Martin Nash Trilogy. Brian Hades, the owner the copyrights, will charge you a fortune to photo scan each page. I would still recommend you talk to him, though, he could be willing to negotiate.

The volume 2 of Foundations is focused on magic, not gambling. And I already mentioned it a couple posts above. Read the thread before posting.

If you're only interested in gambling sleights, I wouldn't recommend spending on the volume 2, with that price I wouldn't risk being disappointed with the contents.

I'd like to get the volume 1 too, but it's definitely a big investment.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on that. Even though Mr. England and Theory11 say that Vol.2 is focused on magic, the majority of the sleights can be applied to artifice. Thus, it's definitely with the purchase if he's interested in his insights and tips. Some of the books I've listed are magic books, but they include some excellent notes and sections that are worth checking out. If you're thirsty for knowledge and very dedicated to your art, why should you miss a stone?

Because those stones cost money? Serious money in some cases?

It may have "some" gambling-worthy sleights, but hey, practically any good sleight of hand work can be ustilized in a gambling scenario. To focus on gambling techniques, better to get what's more closely focused on the art first, then maybe branch out for the odd nugget of information here and there buried among magic tricks.

Exactly, that's what I'm saying. Just because they have a pricetag on them, doesn't mean you can't prioritize. Every reasonable person has a budget, I understand that, but does that mean you should never buy those sources ever in life? No, of course not.

in foundation v2 he mention they are 2 hardcore gambling move .. i just went over to watch the trailer and also he teaches zarrow shuffle which can be use at gambling

i always wanted to try some false shuffle after i set up the deck and gamble but i am afraid i mess up and get bash

That's a big factor. But if you're truly perfect (which is not really an achievable state), then you could pull it off! That's kind of the point - you can strive for perfection, but achieving it is another ball game, so fooling all of the players all of the time becomes just about impossible.

That's one reason why I like low-ante games - not enough at stake to make cheating worthwhile!

Well, that is a spectacular performance which I enjoyed immensely and thanks for sharing it. However, there's very little in there I would describe as a gambling move; definitely wouldn't cut muster at a card table. If I'm right about how he's doing it, culling and mucking are the only things in the whole routine that would be useful at a real game.
