Nice find. The backs look great, but Gemaco decks are horrible for handling.

I definitely can't say that these aren't well designed. But they just aren't my style. I have no interest in getting them  ;)

Correction: HAD.  Sold out.  The site 52cartes links to in Singapore has them still, via another link on that page.

They're expensive - a minus.  Better decks can be had for less.
They're Gemaco, casino quality - that's not bad, maybe a half-plus.
They have a pretty back - a plus.
The faces, including the ACE of SPADES, are bog-standard Gemaco - a minus, maybe even two.
The tuck box is plain silver with a peek-a-boo window - one very boring minus.

I think you see where I'm leaning on this fence...

^I agree.
Although the backs look a little interesting, they don't look like they're anything to write home about.

They are gemaco decks, they come in a very cheap looking silver box with no writing, no seal and no cellophane wrap.

The cardsare not even wrapped inside the box like you sometimes get.
The silver box does have a cellophane window so you can see the card backs and the artwork does not disappoint.

Court cards may be custom, I don't know what a standard court card looks like as the only other gemaco deck I have is the house of blues deck which also seems to feature custom court cards.

Handling, they don't faro worth a damn. they fan easily enough. the stock is very thick

Hope this helps .

@dee - Thanks! Although the design is amazing, the lack of effort to me just doesn't sell it.

Thanks for the review @dee, as a magician I love the look of the back design, but after reading about the quality of the cards....I'll pass on these.

I think the box is unique but it doesn't go along with the deck at all.

The box just reminds me of a cheap deck you would get on vacation. I don't really care the deck itself either. I think back looks kind of silly. Nothing I would buy.

If you couldn't tell if the faces were standard or not, they're probably standard.  The Ace of Spades was as standard as they get, so I don't see why the faces would be any different.

A pretty card back is about the only thing this deck has going for it.  I'm guessing the magicians who commissioned this deck were more into it for trying to catch the custom-deck wave.  Looks more like they wiped out.  I'll pass.

I knew I spotted this somewhere...

Gemaco is now a subsidiary of USPC!  They were bought out a couple of years ago.  I think it's similar to Fournier in that they're still operating their own printing facilities and run relatively independently within the company, but don't quote me on that.

Meh. Doesn't compare to other custom decks coming out IMO.
