This is from an article on Collector's blog - if you aren't following his blog, what's wrong with you??  :))

http://playingcardcollector.wordpress.com/2013/02/17/2013-week-8-upcoming-decks/

Bicycle Club Tattoo Playing Cards were designed by the Club Tattoo Artists. Club Tattoo is a national chain of tattoo studios, with six locations. Club Tattoo was originally created by Chester Bennington, the leader singer of Linkin Park. He then partnered with Sean and Thora Dowdell to create the hottest tattoo studio in the world.

The deck itself features one of a kind tattoo artwork on each card. Just like the Alchemy and Anne Stokes decks, all 52 cards are completely different. The artwork is bold, bright and beautiful and the black back coloring, really makes the vibrant colors of the card faces pop.

This is due to release Mon 1 April.  Click to enlarge the image.

Sorry but I want to add several words to this thread
http://aethercards.com/discourse/index.php?topic=4181.0

I edited quotations to help Don with my last request in this thread. Don you can connect Bicycle Escape Deck with BMPokerworld also. BMPokerworld it's the best I can do for you. I think these quotations are classic. If you have any questions or propositions - contact me through PM. Good luck.

Actually, I think the UC issue was resolved - but the bmpokerworld issue is new.  It would appear that he took one too many potshots at Alex and finally got banned; his username no longer appears on the member list.  If Alex had directly edited your post, Collector, you'd see a notation of who and when - this was probably the result of some kind of macro used to remove references to him.

EDIT:...or not, since I just wrote his name and it's still here.  I don't know what to tell you about that other than asking Alex.

The UC / BMP thing has been for a while.

You can't type...

www. bmpoker world .com

www. united cardists . net

www. united cardists . com

(of course without spaces)

When you do, the links become broken.

Before Alex says I'm complaining.. I'm not.  I'm over it.  Collector was just asking why his post altered itself

Let's test this...

www.bmpokerworld.com

www.unitedcardists.net

www.unitedcardists.com

How do they look?

EDIT: I tested them and they all work.

Now, if it's OK, let's get back to the topic at hand - the Club Tattoo deck!  :))

From what little I'm seeing so far, the box is great, the back design sucks and the jury's still out on the faces.

Back to the deck... I'm a huge fan of the tuck, I'm not sure about the cards.  I'll try to find more info on it.

I think the back of the tuck could be better. I'd like to see all faces of cards also.

I agree, I would Like to see more of the faces before I can make an honest judgement. To me a deck like this is all about the artwork and if 48 of the 54 (assuming they did custom jokers) is poor artwork then I don't have any interest.

I like that ace of spades. Unfortunately, the face cards and back just aren't doing it for me.

I'm loving the rich artwork put into this deck. With that being said, I'm sure the back could have used for work, than just simple writing in a shield.

I agree that the backs are kinda not up to the task, but it's a vanity deck and an art deck when you get right down to it.  The art is great in that it's made pretty much the same way as tattoo flash art is created.  It wouldn't surprise me if Club Tattoo started getting people coming in off the street, showing them a pack of these and asking for that art on their arm, back, leg, derriere, etc.

Interesting - a pack of 54 pieces of tattoo flash...  An ad for their shops and a catalog of their work!

PS: you guys notice it has an AoS code?  This was made around the middle of December last year.  It sucks that USPC tied up the presses for this project while people rushing to get KS projects out the door in time for the holidays got bumped to later dates.  They could have just as easily made this at the beginning of January and it would have been ready in plenty of time for its scheduled release.

Club 808 members got word yesterday that this deck would be available for purchase on the 1st of April.  No mention as to it being an exclusive, so I'm presuming anyone will be able to buy them and there's a good chance shopbicyclecards.com will have them first.

Yep! Checked it and found it. That's really strange though. The previous emails never went to my Spam folder, but this one did. :?

I've never received a single email as a Club 808 member, except the welcome email. Nothing in my inbox, nothing in my spam folder. Nothing. Good thing this thread is constantly updated, or I'd never hear about any of the new member benefits until they go up at the site.
