It's been a long time coming but I'm finally rolling it around. There are quite a few things that are a toss up right now but here is what is finalized:

- The board will be for playing card reviews only, not product reviews for things related to magic and cardistry.

- The board will have reviewing guidelines and standards. Any review can be posted, but only those that follow the standards get indexed.

Right now I am looking for suggestions. Please share any ideas you have, or simply what you expect from the board. Feel free to share review guidelines as well.

I am also debating between making the review board a sub-board of PCP or its own board on the main page. Furthermore, I am not sure if I will divide it into two boards: One for video reviews and one for text reviews.

I think those who regularly post reviews on here (DeckReview, Evan etc.) should have a thread where they regroup all of their deck reviews.

I feel you should make it one board, by itself, and at the beginning of each thread you must post either "[VIDEO REVIEW]" or "[WRITTEN REVIEW]" so it will be easy to navigate.

Also, if you do a YouTube review, you should post your channel name so if two people do reviews for the same deck, it will be easy to tell the difference.

Also, if possible, you should make sections such as Ellusionist, T11, TBC, or other just to make it easier to find what you're looking for.

I would like to see stuff where they tell you certain things. I.E:

1) feeling/texture
2) design
3) cost and longevity

Stuff like that and also what Loldudex.

And reviewers have their own sections in that board or their own posts...

I think having a separate board for Deck and product reviews would be the best way to go.
Since there are quite a number of reviewers here now.

I don't remember where but I distinctly remember that Alex mentioned wanting to make a new thread for deck reviews. I think it was in the thread talking about Don's promotion to mod. Alex said that there were 2 or 3 more mods to come including one for the upcoming deck reviews board.

LoL I dunno anything on U.C. at all hahahaha but this thread should have been created some time ago.
Doesn't matter. I don't think there is any copyright on creating a board for deckreviews.... or is there?  >.<

Anyway, I don't think having seperate sections for T11, E... etc... is necessary. but it would be very useful and very convenient to say the least.
And maybe A format or basic "skeleton" guidelines for written reviews may be awesome.

Yeah it happens a lot. I mean not just here but with other things as well. Just like the the HOPC -NOC and the Mystery Deck of Bedeceived.

Not to mention that when you were staff, the beta version of the deck review board was in the staff boards.
