Hey guys! The forums are growing like crazy and our current staff is doing an amazing job keeping things in check. However, there are certain boards that need extra attention to function perfectly. Before we get started, let me show you the perks of being a moderator here:
1. You get access to the staff boards, which have development blogs on upcoming products and such.
2. You get... power! And respect.
3. You get free swag every so often. For example, Curt, CBJ & Peuan will be getting a Vortex care package in their mail in a few months.
4. You get listed on our Facebook Staff page for our thousands of fans to see.
5. You get to move up in the card community and gain experience in the field.
Now that that's out of the way, here are the minimum requirements:
1. You must be 15 years of age or older
2. You must have 100 or more posts
3. You must use good grammar & spelling on the boards
4. You may NOT hold a staff position on any other forum of any kind, and the Discourse MUST be your most active forum.
5. If you share any secrets from the staff boards, you will be promptly demoted and banned. Don't ruin surprises for people, just enjoy your first look.
Finally, you may want to know where we have open positions:
Design & Development - Your job is to answer any support questions related to your expertise, and post threads that spur discussion in the field.
Sales, Trades, & ISOs - Your job will be to lock some threads every month, and make sure everyone is adhering to the rules of the board.
The Talk Park - Your job will be to stay updated on current events of various genres, and make new threads on the topics at hand that spur discussion.
Introduce Yourself - Your job will be to post a unique welcome for each and every new member that posts there. You will also be responsible for sending them a welcome PM enticing them to post and check out the boards.
