Playing Card Plethora / Re: What does your social circle think?
« on: October 11, 2011, 08:54:08 AM »
My dad always says that I shouldn't buy too much cards, I mean not over 100$ everytime I order new decks, but he is kinda supportive,
in school, most of my friends say that I'm a bit crazy but they also say that they think it's kinda cool, but there are some that know how a double lift "works" and one of them always wants to destroy the trick, even when I just begun with it. He's always shouting when he sees a move he know, it's so annoying -.-
I try to get some of my friends into cardistry, but most of them say they don't want to practice so they don't even try it.
I showed them some of my decks and some were really interested in it. I already brought some people in my family into magic and collecting and I ordered the vortex deck for around 4 other people.

I have the same problem, first I saw every avatar but since yesterday I can't see them anymore. I thought I had disabled them in the options by accident or sth like that.

We WILL have a sales marketplace in the future. Swag will include literally anything. From a signed card to free decks to uncut sheets. Founder Status will be really awesome during the launch of the second deck, because it will give you all the discounts Kickstarter allows for, and much more.

that sounds awesome, I'm sure you even reach the 40000$ goal :D

What is your favourite TV show?

My favourites are How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory and Malcom in the Middle. I also like animated shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy and stuff like that.

Maybe I say that I live in Germany so I may not know some shows you guys like.

Scarne on Card Tricks is a great book for magic tricks.  It doesn't have slight of hand, but I use some of those tricks every day.

Hey we are both really close to the 200 post limit, yay :D

And there was an intervention for him on one episode, about him needing to stop preforming magic with fire.

yeah, he shot a fireball into the banner and it burnt the wall or sth. like that, just awesome :D
