Since the slits actually serve a purpose, then that's fine - especially if that purpose is a cool magic trick!  I'm looking forward to when these Vaults are available.

I still think you could get something going with ZAGG to make skins for it.   It would be cool to be able to customize the Vault any way you wanted to.  But that's just me.

The vault is an interesting concept. It would be nice if there was a small dip on one or both of the sides so it wasn't a flat edge.  You could push the deck out the length of the dip, and pull the rest of the deck out the other side. Honestly it's just an ergonomic suggestion, but if it had that I'd buy it.  I say small dip because obviously you want to protect your edges. It'd also be cool if you had some laser designs on there. You have a CRAZY amount of real estate to play with.

@ Jamie D. Grant: your work, up for sale!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Richard-Turner-Gold-Seal-Bikes-Bottle-Signed-Red-/170771110966?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c2c05c36

I didn't know you did a series of the Gold Seal Bicycles!

Just how many series have you done, and in what quantities?  Not counting individual commissions, naturally...

My favourite deck, though, is in that bottle you see in the pic. It's a rare 1960's Ripley's Believe It Or Not deck. I've only seen less than a dozen in my life.
Should be these decks if I am not mistaken.

Not too expensive before Jamie mentioned them :P
I got mine with $3.99 and $4.99 respectively.
These decks are vintage and unique, every single card is special and very interesting.

That is a pretty sweet deck! I would love to look over every card. Luckily I'm not into collecting vintage decks or I'd be broke! I'll have to look into that deck though since it looks more interesting and it's not as insanely expensive as many other vintage decks. Thanks for the info!

  • Card for me maybe?
Those cards look sweet! noooooooooo, no international shipping!!! oh well, it'll be nice to have those, it's a unique deck of cards and the price tag attached for a fifty year old deck is reasonably cheap, take advantage of this while you can!

Those are them! Great find (you guys are good, lol!)

I love them!!

As for how many Limited Edition AIP's I've done: yikes! So many personals ones! But for official release:

100 1800's
100 Red Artifice
44 Split Spades
100 White Lions
12 for De'Vo
3 for the Bucks (can't remember which deck, lol)
Sentinels
100 Banksy Themed "Send Wonder" decks
52 Signed "Send Wonder"
3 Ripley's
Gah, this could go on, lol. I'll stop boring you.

As for the Vault, here's an update I just posted:

Getting closer! The Damask pattern has been applied to the steel prototype. It'll look much better on the final brass, though. I'm also leaning towards a lighter brown print as it's a bit subtler...

That looks beautiful! If it didn't have the design, I wouldn't have gotten it... but this, is creative and one of the cooled clips I've ever seen.

I have to say I really didn't think that clip would go far at first, but now, I really like it! And it covers and protects all the corners!

I think I like the clip without the design. I don't picture a vault with that kind of design haha Will you offer it in plain brass??

Also I'm interested in hearing the rest of that list! You're not boring us  :P

oh god that card clip looks beautiful, haha what art can do to a plain piece of metal. but a more concerning metal (matter  :P ), wouldn't the chances of the artwork class with the artwork of the tuck box increase significantly more? I mean yes I may suit certain decks but for other deck's it'll be weird.. just my point of view.

Beautiful design! I'd really love to see it on the back of a deck.  :-[

That Damask clip - holy cow!  It's freakin' gorgeous!  Please sell them cheaply, 'cause I think I want a lot of these!

You could be the David that topples the Goliath that is the Porper Clip!

(Ever had anyone ask to put a Porper-clipped deck in a bottle?  :o )
