Solid review mate,

Sounded great. I have been meaning to pick up a deck to mess around with cardistry stuff, sounds like they would be a great option

Thanks Curt!
They are more of a muck around deck for flourishing. I wouldn't really put all my faith in them though when doing hardcore performances.

Thanks, unfortunately we don't own any 505's. If we eventually get our mits on them, we'll definitely review them. We are working on literally 4 other reviews so stay tuned, bud.

Others have often led me to believe that this isn't a good deck for flourishing, at least as far as fanning is concerned.  Bear in mind I haven't seen the review video yet, so I don't know what miracle he was able to do.  They're good for cuts, however.

I've only ever seen one smooth-finish deck that was worth a damn to flourishers and that's the Aladdin 1001s.  The lack of embossing means there's no "air cushion" effect between cards to give them that slip and glide they have against each other.  But Aladdins have something to them that makes it work - I have no idea what, exactly.

That's cool, I am not too worried about fans and stuff, if I was to mess around with flourishes and stuff it would be all cut based, so the clumpyness would work well.

Yeah they aren't worth a cracker for fanning but I managed to get a decent one out of them in the vid.

Finally caught the video.  Mostly good, audio a little unclear at times.

BTW: the seal isn't custom and the courts aren't redesigned.  Those are Fournier standard.  The four of clubs markings serve the same function as the elaborate aces of spades used to before tax stamps - it proved to the world that the taxes on the deck were paid by the manufacturer.  That's how they do it in Spain.  Look at really old AoS cards from the US and UK and you'll see what I mean about taxes.
