Skilled sleight-of-hand artists are used by casinos as table security, monitoring the card tables for cheats - players and dealers alike - either on the floor or in the surveillance room.  Good performers of all kinds are always in demand in a casino for entertaining the guests.  Don't expect to get rich, though...  :)  I hear casino pay is better-than-average, though.  I knew a guy who worked security at the one near my home.
