Hi folks,
Some of you may have noticed on our Facebook or Instagram accounts that we have received the tuck proofs for the second edition LUXX decks.
The idea was to create a 'shadow' edition, from that initial concept Randy has come with with two GREAT looking tucks, pictured below. You may have noticed a couple of posts some time ago showing off the back designs also - I had talked with Lawrence about foiling these backs with silver and gold, but for various reasons (availability, practicality for a larger run deck) decided against it. You might (literally might - it's not even a thought process at the moment) see a one-off foiled version in the future if we can source the right foils. This is not a tease, it is definitely not currently planned - but I would love to do that down the line if it's ever possible.
Second Edition LUXX: Shadow Edition
Pre-Orders Start April 30th (TBC) for a 2 week window, we then expect to received stock by May 30th (TBC) and all pre-orders will be despatched before the decks are released fully.
~Metallic Gold and Silvers on backs and Metallic Gold and Reds on faces. (backs have been tweaked a little since proofs and last images, so will share those when we have them)
~The same 'traditional with a twist' faces - tweaked pips and courts.
~500 of each deck will have a holographic seal, and will be sold during the pre-order stage only or part of bricks later on. (You will be able to order non-seal decks right away too if that's what you prefer)
~Free custom LUXX brick box for purchases of split bricks.
~Free custom LUXX brick box for purchases of multi bricks (3 orange v1, 3 blue v1, 3 gold v2, 3 silver v2)
~A new, lower price of £7.99 (2 or more £7.49)
~A pre-order price of £6.99 (2 or more £6.49)
~A print run of 3000 of each colour - these decks are intended to be a running line in our store. The sealed 500 of each are to satisfy those who would like something a little more limited! :)

Paul, are the limited sets going to have matched numbers, like you did for V1? To make sure the pre-order will be around 6-8 weeks?

No the seal will not be numbers this time around, just holographic and very difference from v1. Pre orders are still not confirmed date wise but will probably be the end of Mach or the end of April.

The LUXX V1 was awesome, and so I'm personally very happy to see it develop into a running series.
I like the fact that there's a custom brick box -- it'll be great for the decks with the holographic seals.
I never used to think much of deck seals... until I received my Special Edition Draconians from LPCC. The holographic seals on them are pretty darn cool, and so I'm really looking forward to see how the LUXX seals turn out.
Definitely looking forward to this.

You'll also still be able to buy decks with or without holographic seals - even early days before they sell out. So if you don't like them, you're not stuck with them! :)

Can't wait for April 30th. Kind of feel like a kid waiting for the arrival of Christmas in anticipation of the V2's. The brick box looks very sharp. :D

We've now listed these on our site for people to add their emails to be informed when they're available, something that was very popular last time.
The first 500 of each deck will have a special holographic seal and will be available for sale individually only during the pre-order window - April 30th for 2 weeks.
Standard pricing for these decks will be £7.99 or £7.49 each for 2. Pre-order pricing will be £6.99 and £6.49, with our lowest LUXX pricing yet for a brick - 12 v2 decks for £71.99.
We hope to have better photos soon when we get a sample deck, these photos are from the proofs.

Randy always does great work, and Luxx V1 is probably one of my favorites from him. This doesn't look to disappoint either. I signed up for the email alert :D

Quick update regarding the holographic seals, we've had a few questions about exactly how many are available - so here it is.
500 of each deck will have a special holographic seal to say thank you for your support, but in any one order a maximum of 4 decks will have the seals. So order 4 decks and you'll get 4 decks with seals, order 24 and you will still get only 4 decks with holographic seals. If you purchase a split brick of 12 v2 decks, ONLY 4 of those will be with holographic seals.
The ONLY way to buy the decks with holographic seals after the pre-order window closes will be to buy the v2 split brick (only if se have stock remaining).
Hopefully that makes sense?

Just a quick update folks, we've been negotiating for the past week or so with Royal Mail to lower international postage costs, and as such we're excited to announce as of today we offer free standard delivery worldwide for orders over £50 (over £40 now for Europe, not just EU). There are a handfull of countries excluded due to postal service levels we've experienced, and standard delivery is not available for orders over £150 - but we've reduced the tracked cost too.
So a brick of LUXX for example, is now free for standard delivery or £11.99 (down from £17.99) tracked and insured.

My friend, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but until you move to the US or an Aussie company buys Jarden and/or USPC and moves it, you're going to be seeing a LOT of this.
You NEED to find a forwarding service, create a local (or local-enough) buyers' club or both. Otherwise, we're going to run out of frowny faces... :)) You're on a forum that's practically littered with Australians! Carpe diem!

HudsonDesign recommended me to join the Facebook club, hopefully that can help me in the future. I also looked at the forwarding company, but so far I haven't been able to find 1 that suits my need.
Especially for kickstarter decks, they are all have different release dates. That means I have to join for the year membership. In the end I found it more expensive since I don't actually backed every project.
I am also thinking of asking the magic shops in Australia, if they are interested in kickstarter deck. That way maybe I can earn a little money on the side ;D

Suffice to say you don't need to worry about postage costs for larger orders anymore;)
Just to let everyone know that we have around 200 decks with the holographic seals remaining. If they don't go during the pre-order stage, they will be available as part of brick deals only when we release on May 30th (TBC). The pre-order window lasts for another 7 days.
On a side note, we had an issue with MailChimp over the course of the past 12 hours. Around 600 of our newsletter subscribers were automatically unsubscribed by them, so far we can't work out why - but we're working on it. If this was you feel free to resubscribed if you wish.

Got my mixed brick last week. Absolutely love the decks. The gold version is my favourite -- definitely one of the best looking decks in recent times.
The long holographic are pretty awesome.

Hi guys,
Over the past few months i've been trying to find a Gilder in the UK who can gild the v2 LUXX decks to a high standard. We've used the USPC decks as a standard to beat, and we believe we've achieve that.
Working with an English specialist, I think we've produced something to a high standard (hopefully you agree if you choose to pick one or two up). In comparison to a Bicycle Allure Gilded deck, they are much smoother, cleaner and more consistent but that may actually be in part due to the superior printing by Legends.

- A Strictly Limited release of 200 Silver and 200 Gold only. We may offer another sale window later in 2015 or early in 2016, but it won't be as many as this.

- The pre-order window closes on July 17th, and we expect to despatch all parcels by the 10th of August.
- It should be noted that gilded decks do not handle quite as well as standard decks, due to the edging - so they're not really practical for magic. These decks are primarily a deck to play card games with, so this gilded edition will make a beautiful gift!

We aim to have all three new products available for pre-order today or tomorrow, but it may be later as we still have to iron out a few details. I will update the thread when they are available but keep an eye on the site if you don't want to wait for me.

The tuck uncuts we're particularly chuffed with. Some images below, which to be honest don't do them justice. Each tuck uncut sheet comprises three complete tucks before they were cut and folded. Thanks to Lawrence for this, they look great!
