Playing Card Plethora / Re: The Blue Crown "Red luxury Deck"
« on: April 05, 2013, 06:09:07 PM »
My order didn't go through last night, so I didn't get the Blue Luxury deck (not a big deal), but I'm really upset I couldn't obtain a gold Porper. Oh well, 'tis no big deal.

This is the first purchase I have made in MONTHS!

I kind of want to see the 49's lose just so I can see one of my co-workers cry.  :t11:

Why would Canadians care? Don't you guys have your own Superbowl equivalent? Like, Lumber Yard Showdown or the IglooBowl?

Stop being so stereotypical Alex; that's what curling is for.

Although I can't think of any specifics off the top of my head from movies, but I know people always get annoyed when I point them out.

I remember one time during the climax of an episode of "Law and Order", the crew walked in to see a bloody man brutally murdered on a poker table with cards scattered, to which I said "Those are Tally-Ho Crcle backs!" (Which got everyone angry because something important was being said, and they couldn't hear it.)

How about Niel Patrick Harris?

I would honestly love to (he is one of my favorite actors, a magician, and on my favorite show How I Met Your Mother), but he doesn't sign autographs through te mail. The people I am sending to are verified and return mail signed 95% of the time.

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Red Arcane and Red Artifice v2!?!?!
« on: January 06, 2013, 04:00:36 PM »
Yeah of course now Red Arcane is a "prototype" after my mock up proved to be so in demand. :P

HEY! Remember who told you to make the mock up!

HEY! Remember who you sent the link to in the first place; jeopardizing my (I mean "his") credibility, and making me ( I mean "him") act like he didn't know anything while I (Darn it. I mean "him". Why do I keep saying that?) was laughing maniacally every step of the way? Remember John? Remember?

So I guess the gig is up?

35
I'm waiting to see someone with Steve Buscemi.

36
I'd be interested in some decks with interesting artwork. If you have any that are cool and obscure, let me know!

Thanks to Evan and John, both of whom sent me the link (thanks again guys), I was able to order! I just hate how I'm not able to add two packages at once (like the 5 pack and a single). Other then that, it was great!

Worst Ace of Spades: Black Artifice  ;)

I dun get it :(

Ellusionist's Black Club deck (black artifice) was a deck you got with a black club membership. Instead of the usual customized ace of spades, they customized the ace of clubs.
http://www.ellusionist.com/black-club-membership.html
This would mean that the ace of spades would probably just be a standard spade pip.

Oh, so you ASSUME the AoS isn't customized. You know, when you assume, you make an ASS out of U and ME :D .

Just kidding ma dude. That actually made me chuckle a bit

Actually, he may be right.  I'm planning on signing up tonight; when my deck arrives, I'll let you know.

But, wait...

Didn't he say it was based only on decks he OWNS?  In which case, he's not assuming anything?
Whoa. Cool. You should have signed up yesterday! You would've gotten an extra deck.

Says who, and where?

We're getting a bit off-topic.
We are ._.
But Ellusionist is doing that holiday daily deals thing.

This was the 19th's.

Holy crap..... you try to make ONE joke and it all goes haywire.

I DO NOT own the Black Club deck, I was just trying to be humorous (not tibia or clavicle).

And here you go you young scallywags:

1x Sanguine
1x London Gold
1x London Silver
1x London Bronze
1x Americana
1x Curator
1x Green Crown v2
1x Americana
1x Black Crown (Kinda Happy About That)

And Strangely............
2x Blue Crown v2

No box will contain any duplicate decks.

I emailed them telling them how they "accidentally" replaced my Jerry's Nugget Deck with a second Blue Crown v2, and they can ship me the Jerry's at their convenience  ;)

Overall though, I think I got a pretty decent selection that in my opinion was well worth it.

You also wrote down the Americana deck TWICE.

Considering you paid $5 a deck and the only deck that cheap at retail is the NOC, the brick was a good deal.  Even if you have these decks, they make great stocking stuffers for your buddies.

Fixed my original post, and changed my second Americana deck, to a Mechanic deck.

I knew no matter what this would be a good deal considering they would only be $5 a pop, but I was just glad I got decks I didn't have (Hearaldy), and the rest of the decks I got are amongst my favorites.

Also, about the stocking stuffers, I gave around half a brick of Curator decks to my friends for Christmas. They all loved them, and even those who thought my collection was a waste o money immensely ejoyed the decks.

Wait, the title of the thread and the first post are contradictory. Is this coming in January or February?

That legit looks like a vintage cereal box! Great Job!

I'm assuming the box will look like a cereal box, correct?

That deck looks sweet! I love the strangeness and the cereal theme!

I really hope the tuck box will look like a cereal box!

They have the two advert cards in the bottom corner... kinda ruins the looks of it.

Anyone know where to get a 'perfect' uncut with 56 rider-backs?

Buy two, cut them in half, put the two non-ad-card halves together and mount.

Either that or simply trim the ad-card row off, since you're only mounting the backs.

Normally I'd never suggest cutting an uncut sheet, but these are pretty inexpensive - less than some posters of that size.
.....or just get two Rider-Back cards and cover the ad-cards.
