Here is the official word from De'vo:

''Who'd be interested in me releasing an April Fools deck for fun, on 1 April. With all the too serious decks out there, I feel like we all need something to lighten the spirits. Limited to 2000 each - will never make again. I won't show the cards themselves - will have to be a surprise when you get them -. Who's interested in something like this?''

I really like this idea of a mystery deck. I really like the idea, and will hopefully be able to buy some.

No images before buying? Pffff... I don't want to put money into something that has a 50/50 chance of sucking from a guy that has produced 1 OK deck in a series of colours. They handle great (apparently don't last long- I've been gentle with mine so IDK) but some design elements... I don't like. Particularly the original AOS.

Are you really sure you want to buy an "April Fool's Deck" ....sight unseen from anyone? Technically he could sell you a regular set of bikes for $10.00 with an April Fool's sticker on it......and the April Fool's is on you!

That ruins the whole point of April Fools, i.e. announcing a new FAKE deck to get people talking in disbelief.

Well he said only 2000 will ever be printed, so I doubt that. Plus, he'd lose tons of fans.

Yeah I was just commenting on the irony of selling a "April Fool's" deck sight unseen. In my experience you never buy anything site unseen. Plus from what I hear in the past...He isn't really worried about losing fans.

I'd definitely buy it if they actually produced it. I think its pretty smart and for collectors, it'd be a cool thing to have!
Does anyone know if De'vo's decks are USPCC because the minimum print from the USPCC is 5000

People willing to pay extra or who have a past successful relationship with USPC can get shorter deck runs.

I'm interested in knowing what this deck is. If they're not ungodly expensive, I might buy two packs.

Yeah I would be too tempted to pass up on that. Sure it's a 50/50 shot but its got a good story behind it either way. I'm sure I would buy a couple if he did go that route

If the decks are cheap, I might get one. But I'm sort of dubious about this whole thing. But I mean, if it's just a few dollars, it won't matter that much even if it was something ridiculous like a regular rider back. But we'll see when the price is announced.

For $5.99, I'd definitely by some. Whats the worst that could happen?.... you buy it and its crappy.... but who cares, its only 6 bucks.

Exactly! I'd rather spend $72 for a brick and hate them, then not buy them and regret it years later.

Thats not a horrible price. If he follows through with it I'll get 2, maybe 3. Like I said before it could end up being an alright looking deck but the back story behind it will make it a little more special.

Although I could never buy a lot of these. That's just taking too much of a risk with my financial resources.

April is still a ways away though, so we'll see what happens between now and then

I like the mystery about it. Reminds me of when I was a kid and I bought a pack of Pokemon cards. You could open them and get an insane holographic

Or get complete crap, but it was always fun to get it with the mystery!

Haha Pokemon cards!! Those were the days! I remember opening all those packs. I wonder if I still have all of my cards somewhere...

Im planning on getting a few decks maybe a brick, i figure he most likely is making a brand new deck so since only 2000 it will be some what rare, though i hope they look good since i normally only get decks that i like for the artwork, only main except is if i find a deck of jerrys and have the money

I'm getting a kick out of the total mystery, and the price point is awesome. The only possible hitch is that based on the tweets (assuming they're true and not just hype), they still have to get this deck through USPC - and who knows how long that will take.

USPC should've kept the Ohio plant, or should expand the Kentucky plant.
