Neat little unopened deck.  Measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" . There were 3 other opened decks that measure the same and one looks to match the pattern and colour of the unopened one. Of the other 3 decks one was blue and the other 2 were red. One of the red was incomplete. I assume the stamp would be the retailers mark. Is there any way to tell the age from the ace in one of the opened decks if they are in fact the same kind? Thanks for any help.

Yep it was common all purpose flour he was using to clean black spots from his cards. If you go to youtube and search "Lenormand Tutorial clean cards" it will be right near the top and shows a pack of Tarot cards and a hand. It is a German guy giving the info.

Thanks for the info guys. I watched a guy on youtube put some cards into a bag of flour. Shook it around for 5 min and the black spots were gone. Granted his deck was newer and had some kind of coating on them. I doubted it would have worked on mine?? If you pick one of the black spots off on mine the paper under it is actually cleaner than the grubby surroundings? Would the mold have stained the paper under it? They have no moldie smell either.

Think these are tarot cards? They are really grubby and dirty. If you notice the little black spots on pretty much all the cards they appear and feels raised. You can actually pick them off. Any idea on how to get rid of those or should I just leave them alone?
They are marked B.P GRIMAUD and the stamp on the ace of clubs reads "republique francaise" on one half, I can not read the bottom of the stamp. Here are some pics. Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the great info and kudos. Grandad wants to do the ebay route. He's 94 and likes to watch stuff end.  He said take any offer and he will make it his reserve lol. He does have other decks of cards that I will post up as they get photos done. Thanks so much again.

Here is the full deck and pics of the Ace/ Frizzle? I added a pic with the flash so the gold stood out.

Hi All

Hoping to get some info on this old deck. Granddad wants me to "put it on the ebay" for him an I want to make sure I list it correctly. It is in very good condition. From what I learned looking on the net I think I might have an old frizzle ace? Pics will tell the rest. If any more are needed that will help out more let me know. Thanks for any input.
