Two trios facing off.

S&M v. 4-6.  The color editions of the S&M series.  Minimal courts, Perfect Pips on the faces, excellent handling and stock.  Highly sought after by card flourishers as well as magicians and collectors.  Classy design from start to finish.

Legends No. 852.  Believed to have been made at the same printer that created the famous Misdirection's Mystery decks in Taiwan.  Crystal-sharp edge cut and a surface that's embossed yet smooth to the touch.  Absolutely packed with extras design to please even the most jaded magician, including a full marking system and many card reveals.  And that gorgeous Asian-themed back?  Exceptionally well-done, by the same designer who has created ALL of David Blaine's decks to date.

Which do YOU feel is the better deck set?

Legends for sure, s&m is nothing more than just a standard deck with a change of a the AOS and jokers, even the back design is plain with just the D&D logo, barely any customisation at all. The only saving grace is the seal with the tearing line. Oh and did i forget the ridiculous initial price slapped on these just because they released as a boxset? How can these be compared to a fully marked deck full of features  ??? ???

You're talking about the Smoke & Mirror V7s. They were a re-release of the V3-6 series.

So, V4-6 for me. I LOVE all the goodies in the Legends deck, like the marked back and the plethora of reveals, but I didn't care for the handling. The V4-6s all handle like a dream, and have a simple, direct design. Love the minimal courts, too.

I would have thought Legends on this one, but the lure of S&M was too much for many of you, it seems...
