Guessing this is a legends or Expert printing by the numbers? Either that or he's keeping over 1000 back for himself.

Very good point. The statement that there are 1500 AVAILABLE (my emphasis), as opposed to 1500 "printed", made me wonder as well. 10,000 printed, but only 1500 for sale...that's an exaggeration of course, but you never know with some.

I really like the back design, but the court card looks too much like a Steampunk design in my eyes.

Had a conversation with de'vo. The following is what he said, I believe he posted it on his FB wall too:

"I've been getting some questions on these - and to answer them - they are printed by the USPC! I'm doing a 1,500 run, they made an exception for me on this particular deck to their minimum quantities. I will keep 1 case or thereabouts for myself and the rest will be for sale. I'm not sure exactly what that quantity will be, depends on if there is an overrun or not. But for certain, there will be less than 1,500 for sale!!! Definitely our rarest and most limited deck! Don't miss!"

He also quoted prices.

$9.99 each
If half a brick is bought, works out to be $9.50 each
If a brick is bought, works out to be $8.99 each.

These are definitely next on my list of must have. I'm already well into next months playing card budget, but I'll make room. :) Anyone know if this goes on sale next week?
Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

I had determined that I was done for a while.  These will have to be an exception.  Setting a Calendar reminder for myself...

Hey, it's only 4 days 'til the next month, so it can count for October's budget, right?

These sold out yesterday, I don't recall how many hours exactly before I noticed them sold out but it was under 12. Pretty insane and pretty cool. Nice to see them so successful. :)

Congrats to those who picked these up! I fell asleep at the wheel and didn't think about picking some up until that night but alas, they were all gone.

Got my decks yesterday... Really love the backs - relatively simple with just a touch of color... I also like the pips and the various faces, but the backs are the best part for me.

Quite disappointed with the tucks though - they seem very cheap and not particularly well designed in my opinion... I know I'm a bit spoiled by the crazy embossing and foiling we see on some of the KS decks these days, and that's not realistic at the price point these were going at, but I feel that even the basic design could've been loads better and it's quite a let down compared to the deck itself...

As for the deck itself, edges are a bit rough, as is normal for USPCC produced decks, but otherwise, it handles great to me (though I'm no expert).

PS: I ordered half a brick - they shipped in USPS priority envelopes (international to HK), and surprisingly survived the trip with only one deck damaged substantially (corner bashed in) and another with minor damage... Rather poor packaging if you ask me, but I got lucky...

Thanks for your review, I completely missed out on getting any of these Exquisite decks, the court cards look pretty spectacular. I do agree that any boxes with foil or embossing just feel SO much more luxurious!
