I don't see a deck...

Absolutely love the tuck, it's nearly perfect in my perspective, from the gloss black on matte pattern on the back to the minimalistic foiled design with subtle gloss letterpress accent, couldn't look better.

I hate the pips. Each pip has a stylistic 'shadow' that wasn't apparent in any of the pictures of videos throughout the campaign nor shows on the Rion Collection teaser initially, it looks gimmicky and cheap and I am relly disappointed with that design choice. The courts are boring, a little too spartan and mostly black, not really bad, but not good either. The back design is solid, and is exactly as shown, wish it didn't include a marking system because it's obviously not a two way back. But those pips kill the whole thing for me.

ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD

I have another set I will likely post at a higher price shortly and expect to be receiving another soon I will post as well

Love the purple, think the price is good, definitely picking up a few

It was good to learn how important the graphics on the cards are. Yet, the point was to expose the material and not cover the cards with graphics. Seeing the response, cards enthusiasts would not be the primary target but those who like the material and this is what we planned for.

Why make playing cards? It's been done before, and clearly been done better, why not make something else out of carbon fiber? I would expect if you guys are producing the product yourself you would have the ability to do something new and different, not just re-hash an idea that has already been seen on crowd funding websites several times before..?

31
This is boring, and a waste of carbon fiber. You are going to fund because for some reason people think that carbon fiber is somehow magical and it doesn't matter what you make out of it, you are guaranteeing success. But this design is lazy, uninspired and insulting, a clear example of someone that just wants money but doesn't want to have to put any effort into design.

32
I really love the P52 concept, I would love to see them revamp some of the utility of it though, I would love to get more consistant images and labels on the images for editions/differences etc. I wish I could get access and go in and update it all =P

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chromografix/grotesk-macabre-black-gold-edition

"GROTESK MACABRE BLACK GOLD - the foiled version of BLACK MASS
A deck of playing cards that takes Black Mass to a new level of obscure beauty.
"GROTESK Macabre BLACK GOLD" is the next step in printing on black stock. Featuring an insanely detailed back design, it is the first deck ever printed on black stock with hot stamped foil on all card backs!
The deck will be available exclusively to Kickstarter backers and only the number of decks sold during this 7-day funding period will be produced."

Stretch Goal:
If funding reaches $10000, foil will be added to the face cards! These will be embellishments under the pips on each card.

I asked how he got them and was told a story that I am not sure I believe since I have not heard anything before how to get. I was told they were on sale for a very limited time maybe only an Hour (Not sure what site) and he was able to get a couple of decks.

If you get a few more let me know, or if you find out how to get more

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Artifice and Arcane deck list question
« on: June 15, 2016, 05:26:59 PM »
The two initial Artifice decks were the red and blue Artifice, both borderless. After that there were a 2nd edition of the blue Artifice printed, this one is the current one with a white border. The emerald Artifice has the same border and was released as a "v2" but there was never more than one version of it. After that we have the purple Artifice with the purple pips and the second print run of it that had the pips changed (although these were never separated as different editions). Add to that the black, white and gold Artifice and I think we have listed them all.

For the Arcanes, there were the white and black from the start, and the gold Arcane as the limited version. A while back they released the red Arcane and that should be all of the Arcanes. The gold Arcanes are printed with performance coating/magic finish but were not marked as such (the first deck to be released with that finish). The regular editions have been printed with both regular air-cushion finish and with performance coating but not separated as different editions. I believe the box art might have had the wording changed perhaps, but don't take my word for it as my memory is getting foggier with each passing year.

Awesome! great info Marcus, thank you

Assuming you don't care about including the gaff or mini decks you have what P52 has for both of them, with Blue showing 2 versions there and Ellusionist listing purple and emerald as also having v2 which added a border on the back.

Thanks ecNate!

Playing Card Plethora / Artifice and Arcane deck list question
« on: June 13, 2016, 07:19:53 PM »
I wasn't having a lot of luck doing research myself online, but I am trying to find out what all of the Artifice and all of the Arcane decks that have been made by Ellusionist are.

Here is what I have been able to figure out:
Arcane has: Gold, White, Black and Red
Artifice has: Blue, Emerald (Green), Purple, Red, Gold Tundra (White), Black

Anyone know if I am missing any? And I believe there were two versions of some of the Artifice decks? Help me fill in this list

Many great deals already sold out, but still Sultan Treasurys, Black Dealers, Gold Artifice for club members, Red Arcane, Black Artifice, Orange Hustlers and more all less than $20

They had Gold Arcanes and Red and White LTDs posted previously but likely sold out, some uncuts, tricks and DVDs listed as well.

In for two of each and already trying to figure out who I need to rob in order to afford Pandora's box. Your decks keep getting more and more beautiful by the project.

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Coming soon to KICKSTARTER!
« on: May 24, 2016, 02:30:09 PM »
People complain endlessly about the way companies like T11 and E tease their new projects. This is emulating their practice but won't get you the interest you are hoping for. Feel free to show us more of the deck, we would love to see what you are working on.

With so many Kickstarters every day, and more and more releases from companies Like D/D, T11 and E a small teaser showing off an uninspired design without giving us more to go off of is going to be a detriment to your project, not a boon.

NPCC is Roman Kotivs factory. He is owner, printer and projects creator. So if anyone want to start with him KS campaign, will be printed only with NPCC.

I was being facetious. But I backed regardless for the artwork.

Looks great, and I love the gothic elements. Not a fan of where the image meets at the center, and unsure about the color. But overall very attractive
