  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.
Definitely gorgeous, Jackson knows what he is doing. I'm interested to see prices assuming he is going to have a couple of editions and some limited but not present this through Kickstarter.

Also really excited to see Jackson do more decks that get away from the America theme once he ends the Fed 52 line.
Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

On Facebook someone asked if he would do one for each branch and Jackson said Marines will be in the fall. I can't wait for this series!

Just wicked… Never fails to impress… As a side note, I have to say, I received my Federal 52 Kickstarter package today and I was just blown away… These are amazing decks… I mean really F%@#!NG nice decks… And yes expletives are necessary… I can't remember the last time I felt this good about a deck of playing cards… Jackson is truly an artist… Congratulations… I wish you continued success…

I'm pretty confident that Jackson won't be doing anymore projects through Kickstarter, He made that clear in his Google hangout sesh's during the Sherlock campaign. I expect that this project will be privately funded and made available through Kings Wild.

If it's not on Kickstarter,  I wonder if we'll have a chance to pre-order the decks.

Actually, it was on Kickstarter.  I know he has some leftover decks and they're available on his website, from both Part 1 and Part 2 of the series.

To each his own.  There's a lot of decks people love that I have no interest in.  Personally, this, I'm interested in!

Don, I'm confused on what you're saying here. I think Sher was wondering whether or not this Army Deck will be on Kickstarter or sold exclusively on Jackson's website. And then it sounded like you were referring to his past projects.
I'm open to being corrected, I'm just confused. I don't want to miss out on any new info and you seem to always have the scoop.

I asked Jackson directly...

"They will be KS for sure but the military series i hope and plan to be my last"

and...

"finalizing each of the branches licenses will determine when they happen. But I hope to conclude the entire 4 deck series by the end of next year (2014)"

So... there you go.  It will be a Kickstarter project

:)

I'm gonna go ahead and post a sad face in Magikfingerz's honor, for them being Kickstarters. :(

Things are going great for Kings Wild, and I have some other plans I'm working on that will be off of Kickstarter. For me Kickstarter isn't broke yet so I'm not gonna try and fix it.

With that said I'm trying to make strategic decisions and moves to get me out of the Kickstarter cycle, because I don't think it's wise for my new business to keep all my eggs in one basket.

I think jmrock had it right, expletives are necessary, because d$%! man, your're trending on "This is the coolest deck you will ever see. Oh wait, let me show you this one. Oh wait let me show......etc"
Very, very cool plan. If I wore a hat, it would be off to you. Heck, I will even put one on, just so I tip it to you.

Jackson - as always clear thinking. You don't need them for this - so let'r rip! Good to talk to you and hope the pix were good enough for your use.

Ah shucks! Well, good to hear you're planning on moving away from it. Can't argue with the "not being broken" part  :P

Are the Signature Series going to still be in February/will they be Kickstarter?

That card back is slick. I see these sales going well beyond the traditional collector. Get these sold in PXs by next Xmas maybe?

Great job, and I look forward to seeing this type of quality for the Marines....
