I preferred buying them from one seller. Shipped to California.

Thanks!

Am I the only one who have not gotten the shipping confirmation yet?

It might simplify trading if you posted quantities of the decks you possess for trade.  In addition, put trade values on your decks, in "eBay dollars" - in other words, value the decks and your uncut based on what they (or something adequately similar) are trading for on eBay.  You can indicate that your valuations aren't hard and fast and that you're willing to negotiate, but having that "framework" might help when someone's trying to put together a package that they want in exchange for their uncut sheet.  At the least, you won't get crazy offers from someone wanting the whole lot in exchange!

BTW: consider specifying whether it's an uncut with or without David Blaine's signature that you want.  DB only signed 40 of the 75 that went up for sale.  They're already being priced at a premium, I'm told.

Lastly, your White Lions in blue - is that the original retail blue or the UV blue from the Variety Box?  And you do realize that the "sepia" on the sepia Split Spades Lions box is just on the box and that the cards inside are blue, right?  Blaine was considering a sepia deck but opted against it, but by that time the sepia boxes were starting to be printed.  Rather than wasting the boxes, he used them for blue decks.

Revised as needed, thanks Don!

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Magic Con Deck V2 Uncut Sheets
« on: May 04, 2012, 09:51:01 PM »
When Syd said they might be around $100, they'll probably be $99.98 - I wouldn't be surprised of this prices though. This uncut sheet is like no other that I have seen. You still would have to take in the fact that they've never put anything this high up for pricing. So, it should be pretty mysterious to see how much these go for.

Well, it's not 99.98 nor 100. IT IS $249.95.  :-[

I see total laziness. But I have to agree it is 10x better than Style. Well, too early to tell.

58
Well, what he can do is that acknowledge what the last bidder has offered. In that way, no bidder could edit his post.

I call $54.

Looking for Chinatown Uncut at a reasonable price/trade.

PM me for offers!

What a beautiful collection! It's not the biggest collection but man you definitely have some sweet decks. If you just added more vintage decks in there, that would probably be my dream collection.

I briefly posted this in another thread, but here it is again. This is the new way I will be keeping an updated photo inventory of my collection, minus duplicates and opened.

Thanks Curt! I'm currently focusing on Vintage Decks particularly some Golden Nuggets. Bookmarked your tumblr account!  :)

The red one has a stain or something....

Look at how the stain end up with a cello-sealed deck. Lol

@alex: If I found another source for a set, will definitely let you know!  ;)

Good observation Alex, seems to me that the authenticity of these decks are doubtful. Misplaced stamp, thick and misplaced ribbon, loose cellophane. Could be the best replica of the Jerry's.

The Skulkor development team is working around the clock to make sure everything will be ready with perfection and up to the Skulkor standard. Your orders are expected to be shipped in 8 weeks.

27 bucks for shipping, 8 weeks to get delivered. It is indeed a revolution - in worst way possible.

Also, IMO vintage decks' market is more stable and more established unlike the new artificial rare decks. And the way I see it, prices would drop significantly for artificial decks when the bubbles burst - which would be triggered by the saturation of decks on the market.

71
Wow. I was surprised that the greater post here were of 'artificially' rare decks. :P

A pair of Jerry's
Green, Brown, and Black Golden Nuggets (Las Vegas)
Tall Stacks 92 and 95
Arrco Tahoes 84
Blue Ribbons

Design & Development / Re: RunIt Deck
« on: January 22, 2012, 01:13:12 PM »

Sorry for the late response guys, had to celebrate Chinese New Year! :D

The story behind RunIt is as simple as breaking it down into two words "Run It". The explanation is quite long so grab a popcorn.

It originated when I had my first custom deck - Black Tiger to which I have bought from a store. I went home and researched about custom decks and found out that the store where I bought my Tigers only sells close to 5% of the variety of decks that are in the market. Since then I knew I'd be a collector.

Now, the prices of custom decks here in our country costs a lot, just to give you an idea, it costed me $12 for a single Black Tiger. Back then I was still studying and it would costs a lot to pursue this hobby. So I've thought, where else should I get fuel for this hobby? Of course from the hobby itself. Thus the idea of reselling came into mind. Searched online and found a Filipino reseller, purchased a Black Ghost (bought it at $19) deck and sold it making a profit of $1. Then I used $20 plus a couple of my school money to purchase two decks from another reseller and made a profit of of $3. Kept on doing the same thing over and over until I was able to buy all decks from the store.

Collected all of them didn't satisfy me. For one, I knew that the access of Filipinos living in the urban to custom decks is very limited. Two, Filipinos living in the provinces don't have access to custom decks. And three, I'm not satisfied with my collection, as I knew this is only close to 5% of the decks on the market.

So I did research about importing decks in our country and finally decided on purchasing one brick of Arcanes to resell.

Now, for me to sell all this quick, I had to set up an online store. When I was asked for a user/store name - Chris Brown's "Run It" was playing on the background. The title of the song made me realized that I can make it (deck reselling) work, I can run it and be successful. Well, the rest is history.

Started importing a brick, to bricks, a gross, to multiple grosses. I've been selling for over two years and I am happy to say that 99% of my hobby was funded from my hobby itself.  Not only that, I have given easy access to Filipinos (both urban and provinces) to custom decks; I was able to share my passion with ethnic groups in a province that don't have electricity; and lastly, contributed in building and strenghtening the awareness of people to this hobby and cardistry in the Philippines.

To some, this may be a senseless story, but this is the story behind RunIt. And I am proud of it. :)

I must say that this was designed and posted on UC way before the Enigma deck was produced. Unfortunately, being a non-US resident gives me a hard time to fund this deck.

I maybe opting for "All or Nothing" option - might as well try my luck as I wanted this deck to get produced.  :)

Hi everyone, as some of you have seen this before, I am currently deciding on whether to produce this deck or not. As I know that we are saturated with decks on the market.

Some of the details of the deck are as follows:
-2500 print run
-Bee Stock
-Magic Finish-Custom Faces
-Metallic Ink
-Would be funded via IndieGogo (As I'm from the Philippines)
-Would be priced around $9-11

Your feedbacks would be truly appreciated.PS: I would add some more details as the deck progresses. :)
