Photos attached. The deck backs are true black, as opposed to V2, which was more a slate gray.
They look and handle just like the V3s. Metallic red ink is a nice touch.
I'll have them listed early next week.

Derek McKee's Cherry Casino decks have been immensely popular, one of the fastest selling in my eBay store. All of the first three versions sold out quickly at his Pure Imagination site, and through wholesalers.
The V4 version, called True Black, is similar in design and handling to the V3, but with a jet black back that is much darker than the dark gray V2.
I'll be selling it in my eBay store (I'm pokerstud52) starting Sept. 12.

A Cellar of Fine Vintages / Court cards ... why are they different?
« on: March 30, 2016, 01:49:03 AM »
A friend of mine at USPC asked me recently why there are differences in the court cards between the bridge size and poker size Bee, Bicycle and Aviator decks. The differences are subtle (facial expressions, clothing, colors) but are striking once you examine them closely. Can anyone explain why the courts are different? Has this been the case since the cards were issued or were the changes made more recently?

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Bicycle Deck Error ... an instant collectible?

The original decks were called Expert Back but USPC later found that the back they had used was the Old Fan Back. The differences between the backs are very subtle and require very close examination, but they are there and led to USPC re-issuing the decks with the corrected back. The coloring of the tuck case on the re-issued deck is also changed so there can be no mistaking them.

Thanks to you both. Good points made and taken.
I have asked USPC about their plans for a reprint, when I get an answer, I'll decide which course to take.
I have 24 of the misprinted Experts but have not tried to sell them. You're probably right, not much interest now. Maybe in 50 years? Who knows?
Thanks again for the welcome, good to be here.

Playing Card Plethora / Bicycle Deck Error ... an instant collectible?
« on: February 12, 2016, 04:11:22 PM »
I'm new to the Forum but familiar to 52 + Joker veterans ... I'm Dave but some know me as "The Bicycle Guy" ... I'm the one at conventions with a lot of new and custom Bicycle decks!
I just bought some of Bicycle's new release, the Cyclist. Today, I got a call from USPC asking if I wanted to return them because of a printing error. The 10 of diamonds has only 9 diamonds printed on it. (see photo)
What do you think? Hang onto them and sell as collectibles, or send 'em back? I bought a gross (144).
