Um...yeah...here...OK...

I would've included more - but this was all that was there.  That's it.  Nothing else.

Makes you want to crack open your wallet, doesn't it?!?

Tisk Tisk.  So much has to go into a playing card project for a successful kickstarter campaign.  I really wish the best for these guys but I expect the worst.

The video has me convinced that this guy is a child.  Voice disguiser?  Cheesy graphics?  Why else?

If Kickstarter doesn't actually start vetting projects a little better, it's going to have its business taken out from under it by someone who will.  I wouldn't trust the guy behind this project to tie my shoes, based on what he's shown here.

  • I like birds.

  • Kickstarter:
KILL IT
KILL IT WITH FIRE AND HYDROCHLORIC ACID
The fact that the creator is willing to stoop as low as to use a voice modifier that makes him sound like a kid sickens me.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Sent him a message. Found out he is not using USPCC. Also he should be posting pics of the other cards soon.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

Darn, I think he stole my Joker deck idea.  :P  Oh well, back to making the Cheeses of the World deck.  Does cottage cheese refer to the Swiss Alps or the French ones?

I just saw the additional pictures.  ... ... ...

Well, the good news is that all the artwork is done.  yep, all two images.  (there might be 3, I'm not sure if the actual Joker is original or not)

Yeah, I've seen that Ace of Spades before - it's a generic Ace of Spades used by some Chinese publishers.  Woo AND hoo.

He's gotten REALLY ambitious, adding a second deck.  It's a shame he didn't tell anyone how to pledge for it or how much it costs...

Somehow, I think there's still going to be room in the market...

I don't know, plus he stole my idea about using Zazzle images to highlight my card design.  I hope he gets funded and proves us all to be idiots, then we can all just focus on making card backs.  That would be so much easier.  Plus he has to pay for that trip to Bermuda where he got the idea (they smoke a lot of crack there right?). :P

I checked out makeplayingcards.com.  The kid's using a standard deck face they offer.  His whole "design" is the goofy drawing on the backs.  Any grade-school kid with access to a prepaid charge card (or his/her parents' help) could have ordered these and had them made.  If I was crass (and foolish) enough, I could take his art from the KS page, take it to makeplayingcards.com and have a new deck on its way to me in a handful of days.

That would just be wrong.  So wrong.  Not because you'd be stealing his art for your own gain, but because... well the art isn't really that good.  Okay, it's not terrible, but if I'm gonna copy a card back and print them for myself, it's gonna be something my kids drew.  :P
