MORE Trace Decks?

I'm not sure if anyone has sen these, but while looking through Merz's invintory, I came across this:

Wow those look cool!
But for some reason I get this Dejavu feeling with the Purple and the black trace... Like I've seen it before but I can't quite put my hand on it.

But if these are real USPCC decks, my question is, who designed them?
I really like it. Well except for the skulls. I really don't like skulls, which is probably the reason why I'm not very fond of the Karnival series.

But yeah.

Nah I think these ones are new.  Merz 'designed' them.  Replace the AOS and jokers with lip-art images (he doesn't draw them) and recolour the back and viola! A Merz deck.

Ya, we talked about these in the Merz 67/Trace Series thread. I also think they look better than the other ones. At this speed, in 1000 years he will create decks as good as Tendril and Vortex

well the black one is a complete rip off of the ghost deck. Maybe his next deck will be a white trace, just have blank backs.

Haha. Well I knew what the words meant. I just thought that being above the pinnacle was a good thing.

I personally think that with every new design, Merz is getting better. Now don't stone me for saying this. I would rather have 1 Vortex deck than 10 of these. And don't get me wrong. I hate his way of making money and stealing business from those working hard. I just think these are more appealing than the first Trace decks.

If they weren't, they couldn't be Bicycle decks, now could they?

I read that statement as "this new heaping pile of crap looks MUCH better than that other one he made before - and it's fresher, too; look at the steam!"

I might, just might, have agreed with you, were it not for his most recent "animal" deck releases.  But truly, they're all crap using found clipart and requiring little to no skill or artistry to create.
