Happy day, whatever it means to you.  It's already Christmas here in the UK but I'm just going to bed.  A  very merry first holiday day thing... can't we just say Christmas?  To the discourse in general, and to all its members.  I love being here and that extends to each and every one of you guys.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone at the discourse!

It is a pleasure reading the threads everyday and finding information about something, whether it be about a new deck, or a new bundle of decks.

I hope we all have a wonderful time during the holiday season. And that we all have a "fantastique" new year.

I would've shown him to fan and maybe even spring, but I thought his child hands were too small to hold the cards correctly, and he kept dropping the deck as if to prove me right. Maybe I should give him a deck of mini ghosts or something... ::)

Merry Christmas everyone :) whilst we only have 1.5 hours left of it here in Australia lots of you are just starting the day so I hope you all have a great one :)
Mystery is the basic appeal of magic. Once the secrets are known, the magician becomes a mere manipulator, an actor in a suspense drama which has little impact because the audience knows the ending in advance.

Magicians with smaller hands will often use bridge-sized cards instead of poker-sized.  A Japanese magician named Mr. Maric had his custom deck made bridge-sized.  The Bicycle "Magic" two-deck set is bridge-sized; one ungimmicked deck, one stripper deck.  Lastly, some cardists use "manipulation cards", which are usually available in bridge-sized, or at least in bridge width - one deck is narrow and insanely long for making wicked-looking fans.

Get him a deck or two of bridge-sized cards as a late Christmas gift.  Something decent - Bicycle comes in bridge size as well as many plastic deck models.
