Five new releases from Theory11!

This certainly sounds very interesting, but I hope to God they aren't releasing five new limited decks. That would murder my wallet.

Don't worry, they won't do that. I am kinda thinking they may release 1 limited deck. But its just a guess. I hope they do, but theres no way to know!

i wonder why they set up the charity waters as singles and a brick package. none of the other cards are set up like that. every other deck u can just choose ur quantity. maybe it comes in an extra nice looking box.

10 is pretty steep for a new deck tho. but it's for charity which is probably why there's no discount even if u buy a brick. the steampunks look awesome

i know, but since they already set it up to do it the same way for all of the other decks i dont understand why they did it this way with these decks. there must be a special reason. cuz it seems like it'd be an extra step for them. since they consider 1 brick to be a separate item (which is why if u add a brick and then a single deck, they're listed as 2 separate things), it would be more work as they would have to create 2 items in their catalog instead of just creating 1 and letting u buy in any quantity.


also, they shouldnt have used a black box when the black crown was just released. but i guess it was being produced at the same time so it happens. back kinda looks like a massa too.

Just ordered 1 steampunk and 1 charity water plus a copy of Pure by Exaterina. The decks look pretty nice but I'm not keen on the Jaqk cellar style tuck cases that much, they feel a little cheap, it looks like the charity deck has one.

I would think that the Charity Water Deck is limited. But neither of the decks say anything about them being limited, so I don't know.

according to the forums, t11 is not sure about the charity waters. they're going to try to keep it as long as possible. which is probably code for it's going to be limited.

as for the steam punks, they didnt really say yet. if i had to guess i think it might be limited in the sense that it'll be like deckone. they'll find a way to make the box more metallic and create a new run so that the current ones will no longer be made.

the steams look awesome tho. but im not too big on the charitys. they dont look very nice imo. it's like a black crown with massa backing. i was going to buy a brick but now im not so sure.

even though they are doing something good with this charity deck, I seriously doubt they printed 30,000 of these.  They are probablly sending the procedes of this deck to charity...which means if it costs them $5.00 to produce then they send the extra $5.00 to charity.  Actually they could be sending less but thats a different topic all together.  In short, they are in business to make money. They aren't gonna make a run of these like the Monarchs.

Theory11 in a nutshell: Too lazy to customize the difficult parts of card design (court cards) in order to pump out new decks every few weeks.

I love their tuck cases, but at some point you have to just stop buying into the whole idea of buying hastily made products for a premium price.

Charity Water is fine for me, I might pick a few of those up because it's supporting a good cause, and not T11's unwillingness to work for their money.

Also, for a company that consistently bashes Ellusionist and their deck designs, I find it hilarious how they can't come out with something original, custom, and game-changing anymore. Hypocrisy at its finest.

It still seems suspicious to me how they all of the sudden come up with a steampunk deck after Lance has been working on his for the past year....I guess imitation is the greastest form of flattery....Also why does TH11 think that everything is better when you throw metallic ink on it?
