Gemini is a fictional casino deck inspired by treasured classics like Jerry's Nugget and Dunes Casino playing cards. Created by Estonian multimedia designer, magician and card flourisher Toomas Pintson, Gemini was made to look like a vintage deck you might find in an old Las Vegas warehouse from the ’70s.

Thanks for the review.  I love the idea of these "old style" casino decks that seem to be popping up.  Form a "magic" POV, do you think it matters to a spec if the casino isn't "real"??

No, I don't. 9 times out of 10, I don't think it matters WHAT deck you use. Just so long as your using a design that doesn't make the pips and courts hard to distinguish. I try to stay away from decks that have a "color" as the background on the face cards.

The majority of spectators aren't going to be that knowledgeable in what casinos are out there, past and present.  Most will think it's a legit casino unless the magician gives them reason to believe otherwise.

The closest to a giveaway this deck would have is that few casinos these days print standard faces on their paper cards.  Most use paper cards only for games like blackjack, and for that game they use a TechArt face or something similar.  But most people wouldn't know the difference unless you actually pointed it out and showed them a legit casino deck to compare it to.
