I actually had a tough time coming up with this battle. The decks are similar, yet pretty different. Mana is gorgeous for all that metallic ink and for those jazzed-up aces - and let's not forget the sharp-looking cardist joker! But Hornet is also great for that "genuine" old-school look and feel - I remember seeing the ads and thinking that someone dug them up from an old campaign in the era between post-WW2 and the early '60s. When I think of classic playing cards, a deck like Hornet pops into my head. And yes, that substitute card was brilliant! It's much more natural-looking to be in a deck like that rather than a gaff card.
I'm gonna have to side with Hornet.
